The hotel is located on the outskirts of Minsk, not far from KAD. Since we were in Minsk by road, it was convenient for us. Nothing special is expected from the hotel, a simple factory option for business travelers, in the atmosphere of the late USSR. The staff is friendly. The rooms are simple, small, but clean. Everything is expected unpretentious, but what else can be for such money.

Not a bad hotel overall.

I was on a business trip at this hotel in March 2019 for 2 weeks. I had to call back to the Almaz for a room to eat. I booked a room by phone, without any advance payment. I was worried because there was a bad experience of booking the Hotel Express in Minsk too (I personally came there and booked for 3 days, made sure that everything was booked, and then it turned out that they would only give room for one day).

Just a wonderful hotel!!!

Hotel Almaz is located in Minsk, 3.1 mi from Minsk Zoo and 3.7 mi from Chizhovka-Arena. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

We are from St. Petersburg. We stayed in Almaz with a family of 2 adults and 2 children for the night. The hotel is of course Soviet-style, but I liked it all! We arrived after 23.00. We were booked (family room). We drove the car to the parking lot of the complex. We arrived in the room - and... everything is clean. The clothes are fasted, cleaned, without stains! spare pillows and blankets are available. In each room there is a working room!)) TV. The panties (by 3!!! towels per person) and blankets are white! White, not so tasteless, without pay and advice.

I really enjoyed it.

In the center of the hotel, inside the circular corridors, everything is very beautifully decorated, on this background you can take interesting pictures. In the sanctuary next to the toilet there is a hygienic shower, very high quality. The room (we had a two-seater with one large bed) is clean, but not modern, in Soviet style, but it's only a plus.

A trip to get to know Belarus, in particular its capital.

I really liked Stalin's line, but the cold didn't give me much time to walk. I wanted to visit Belaz, but we couldn't agree because it was New Year's Eve. The Diamond Hotel is a sleeping area, not far from the hotel 10 minutes walk there is a restaurant Baking yard, a very democratic establishment, but be prepared that no one is in a hurry:) As always, we visited the Bar PAB on Karl Marx Street 6, good cuisine large portions with a steering wheel).
