Haapsalu

Located in a beautiful bay within a forest, nice beach right behind the hotel. Rooms and bed were rather good even though they are not looking very modern. Toilet even contains a shower for hygiene of the private parts. Spa area looks by far more modern, whirlpool and small swimming pool available. Gym is with old equipment but quite good compared to what you see in other hotels even though it cannot be compared with a real fitness center.
Buffet for breakfast was a little bit poor in my eyes. In addition they served some fruit salad which seems to be made from canned fruit. Better if you take the fresh fruit which are served in the bucket next to it.

Nice hotel

Awful people working there. Room cleaning is very 😞. Fist picture is closed outdoor pool. We can't understand that. Second picture is after room day cleaning. We left this hotel one day earlier because the whole atmosphere there is so awful.

No value for money

Had a great day in Haapsalu, it has a spa a pool and saunas. The breakfast was average Estonian, dinner was also good. The rooms were clean but tired already. The staff in spa was a bit impolite when yelling at people who didnt know how long they could use the pool facilities in the morning. Saunas are closed in the morning only the pool is open.

Nice but a bit tired

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the doctor who pulled my son out of the toilet quickly and quickly! And also had a massage the day before! The other little flaws were! But! Kindness and humanity were above all! The pool is cute and the cozy runner by the pool is just cute) The imitation of thunder in the pool is just wow) The child was thrilled! In general I am happy to recommend this cute good spa! There is a children's room a huge plus! I also forgot the electric washing machine and I got it sent to Tallinn in one day!!! Thank you!!!

It's a super friendly place.

Everything was fine, the staff was nice, but the spa needed renovation. The design was outdated, the rooms were uncomfortable (for example, in the superior room one wall was completely empty).

For the elderly

Very nice Estoniain place, SPA  near Baltic sea, Haapsalu city. Different and interesting SPA procedures can be found there. You can swim in Baltic sea at the beach near hotel. Cabins for cloth change and different attractions are there. The best numbers are at the 1st floor, near spa procedure place, with the view to the beach and Baltic sea. No dislikes, liked everything.

The first hostess heard that I am French and would rather leave than take care of myself... In my room it was extremely cold and it was impossible to adjust the temperature. I decided to go and see what there was for dinner at 6:30 pm. Except that everyone had already eaten....!!! I paid 15 euros for a buffet. I always got cold, I headed to the Spa. I stayed there for 10 minutes. It was filled with children who were screaming buffet and making his form. Everywhere at lunch the next day, but two little mommies openly mocked me... French Bref. I will not return to this large establishment but I will stay there for 10 minutes.

The offer does not match reality

I visited Fra Mare with my wife and 3Y old daughter in February, just before the stricter COVID rules were applied. It was our first longer stay in a hotel since the COVID outbreak started and it was surprisingly smooth. Yes, the masks were mandatory but by then we were all used to it so it did not bother at all. The only thing that was influenced a bit was the spa visit as you had call first to inquire if there is still room (a certain number of persons was let in the pool area) and sometimes nobody picked up the phone for a long time but there was always room in the spa so no waiting list or anything.
The Deluxe room was insanely huge - it had 1,5 floors with a large seating area! And the best thing was (in our daughter's opinion) that the children's play area was just outside our door. The room was impeccably clean but a bit outdated and tired-looking - nothing was broken or anything but you could see wear and tear here and there.
I definitely compliment the staff as they were always very cheerful and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were really abundant and tasty. 
The spa area is above average - a lot of saunas, a decent size pool, large jacuzzi and the outdoor pool was especially fun during these very cold winter days. We used also several treatmants and they were all top notch.
So all in all a great and relaxing 3-night vacation in a nice hotel in Haapsalu. I definitely recommend it.

Great experience in Haapsalu

Absolutly poor service, cold food and empty  plates. Sauna was OK. 4 different. Parking area not from the door to door. Price for the weekend is very high. Small room, clean. it was not good experience! POOR WIFI

SPA what only WRITTEN

It was good, it was just very hot. It's good that we took a fan out of the house. Why not a good coffee. I want to tell you about the food and help the restaurant staff, because we always take a three-pack of food, so we were surprised, looking at the visitors for a couple of days. They have to order lunch or dinner, and they take a beer or wine, and then they sit on the terrace and slowly send the kid for fruit and candy, or they make a company with him.
