Little hotel is 5 minutes from the beach with a very friendly reception. The originality of the place lies in the fact that in the hotel you can buy Chinese objects there are pendants, lamps, statues, paintings....original and nice. the rooms are simple but well equipped and above all clean. We slept well the next day a charming lady welcomed us to have continental breakfast in a buffet thank you for your sense of the perfect hotelier has you 3 US REVENDRERS without hesitation JEROME and SAMIA we came on Saturday 20 July 2019

The Hotel de la Plage is well-named, located a few steps from the beautiful Malo-les-Bains beach. It does not pay for a mine but has several advantages: its location, very good for sea bathing lovers, its hospitality, especially kind and its prices, very attractive. The common areas would deserve a refreshment but everything was fine in my room: cleanliness, bedding and calm. Breakfast is continental but there is a choice. In short, if you do not look for luxury, you will be seduced by the simplicity of this establishment and the quality of its hospitality.

Nice hotel with no chips.

Close to the kursaal and not far from the beach this establishment is well situated but deserves better maintenance of the communes (paints...) and finishes especially bathroom.

Good location

It's a nice hotel with no more, no less, it's a two-star hotel, and it's a good place for beach-lovers, and the rooms are small and deserving of a refreshment, and nice, not to mention no free Wi-Fi parking, and it's okay for a night.

Suitable

Visited this hotel for one night. Everything you need they offer! Thank you to the man at front desk (sadly, did not get his name) We don’t know French, he knew English and helped us with questions we had, thank you very much!

Reception is open from 8am to 12pm and from 4.30pm to 8.00pm. Meanwhile it is impossible to use the chairs at the reception because the room is locked. So in the evening, either outdoors or in your room. It is not possible to have a drink at the bar. It is rather sinister as the atmosphere in the room. Dirty painted paper and it takes off. Very poor bed. Back pain insured in the morning. Tight bed: 140.

Once, but not twice!!!

Uncomfortable litter: 140x... not 200 because 163 cm long I was almost at the end. Very low-quality pillows: you could smell the cotton balls, I had to put two of them on and it was still not that, even at Ikea for 3x nothing is better. Insonification: 0. Listening in the middle of the night to the shouting of someone upstairs, and the children next door, and unplugging his charger from the other side of the wall... welcome: Mr. Very nice night, but just when I arrived. Because later in the evening, the reception was closed and so on the next morning.

Very limited

We turned up a day early from the day we booked and was welcomed with open arms, the lady receptionist is such a lovely lady, does not speak English, uses Google Ap, but I don't speak French so she done a lot better than me. Well done to her, 
Rooms very clean and do the job, blinds for curtains so nice and dark if wanted, we had breakfast, continental but everything you need for a start to the day, 
Nice Art Deco everywhere that makes it so nice to sit amongst , 20s to 70s art well worth a look, the owner is a collector and loves to have it around , worth a comfortable stay , 
You get what you pay for and its worth every penny as it suits a small pocket 
Well done to the hotel it how it should be 

Friendly ,Clean and Arty 

We were very happy overall with the service we got here. The owner is extremely pleasant and friendly, the location is great, the hotel was clean and everything worked as advertised. Only minus point is that our daughter burned her hand on an unshielded halogen light in the bedroom. I hope he has got that sorted out now.  Otherwise everything was to our liking.

Cheap, clean, friendly

We booked this last minute as I messed up with the booking for another hotel. We stayed for one night. The  room was basic, a bunk bed for the children and a standard double for us. There was a partition between our bed and the children's which was helpful to get them to go to sleep. The location was great as we were about 5 minutes walk, with children, away from the sea.

The room was basic but clean, there was no carpet but given that it's so close to the beach that is no surprise. The shower room was small but clean and the shower was good and the blinds outside kept out the light so they children didn't wake up too early. 

The only thing that my husband and I found was that the mattress was really uncomfortable so we didn't sleep very well. I felt the contours of all the people who had slept in the bed before me as I think the springs had started to go or had gone completely.

The breakfast was early nice and the receptionist very friendly and helpful, even with our attempts at speaking French. I would stay there again, but hopefully the beds in other rooms have mattresses with a bit more spring in them.
