As a frequent traveler, I have stayed here 2 or 3 times with great pleasure. The hotel is  booming and is located in a hip, up and coming area. As I am gathering content to start a travel website/blog, Grand Pigalle came to mind as one of the first places to document and I passed by to take a few pictures. After verifying I had indeed stayed there before, I was surprisingly not allowed to photograph anything and I had to send an official email to the marketing manager to ask for permission. I least expected that from the one hotel I stayed at during my previous trips... Other hotels were comfortable showing me around and make friendly conversation. Grand Pigalle was an exception. If guests can take pictures in their room and post whatever they want, why keep the door closed to a frequent client? A bit of a bummer.

Disappointing treatment

Grand hotel in one of the most charming areas of Paris! El Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, the center of Paris four steps away (once you get to walk through this wonderful city everything is nearby).

Hotel with enchantment!

The staff at the front desk was incredibly friendly, no matter what time of day. The whole hotel was charming - it was an older building with modern fittings. 

Wifi was ok, decor was cute, water pressure decent. Loved the chocolate cookies at turndown and the bar. Rooms are small but nice. 

Yes, we could hear the people in the adjacent room whenever they were in the toilet. There is also a bit of street noise, so if you are sensitive to sound, probably not the best bet. 

The area is lively. Lots of cafes and bars nearby, plus a metro station. 

Great value

Grand Pigalle is a very nice hotel with a great location. Staff is helpfull and the rooms small but nice. Breakfast buffet is also nice with good quality products. Great for a weekend exploring Paris. 

Great location and lots of charm

Grand Pigalle is situated in South Pigalle, currently one of the best areas in Paris to go.  The hotel staff is super friendly and client-focused, the rooms are clean, stylish and even quite spacy for Paris, and there is an excellent bar / restaurant on the ground floor.

Recommended!

This hotel is a fantastic little place in a great location.  My husband and I stayed over thanksgiving here.  It is tiny but it was wonderful and the front desk ladies were wonderful.  Our room was ready early when we arrived around 11 am so we were able to freshen up after a long night of travel.  It is in a great location to pigalle district and montamartre. We spent much time exploring Sacre-Coeur and all that is around it.  You are a very short walk to the metro and there is a wonderful bakery as you step out the door to the hotel.  The only downfall was the room was extremely hot even after turning heat off and we would keep the window open, but there was a bar/resturant across street that was extremely noisy. Overall it was wonderful!!!!

Fab little hotel!!!

Wow, what a fantastic hotel! Amazing location in the heart of Pigalle with beautiful furnishings, fantastic small restaurant and incredibly helpful staff. If you’re at all familiar with their other bars Experimental Cocktail Club or Compagnie des Vin Surnaturales, it has the same chic and comfortable vibe. I go to Paris frequently and will definitely stay here many more times. 

Gem of Pigalle

Upon arriving to Paris, we were warmly greeted by the front desk personnel who immediately made us feel like we were guests in his home. The room is cozy and warmly decorated, with peaceful colours and decor. The bathroom has a large shower and plenty of room to get ready for the day. The staff made sure all of our needs were met. After a long day of excursions, it was a pleasure to end our day in our cozy room with a comfortable bed and linens. Sweet dreams we had!
