If you are looking for a place to stay for a city trip, this is the place to stay. The hostel is clean and the room was quiet. Breakfast is fine and for a short trip (Tip: discover Loschwitz and nearby wine streets).

Perfect for a city trip.

Perfect! We arrived after the opening time of the reception but the gentleman had left us the keys in a specific place. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very nice! Very good welcome. And the price ratio is more than correct!

That's perfect.

We stayed with friends, we rented three local rooms. The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, the towels were clean. We liked it very much. We arrived in the evening, free parking at the hotel was 5 cars and there were no seats, we had to pay extra for parking. It's far from downtown. We chose this option because we were moving by car.

The guesthouse Loschwitz is impressive for its good price-performance and comparatively favourable location. It is within 5 minutes' walk of the tram and cable car stations, the cafe Wippler and the Blue Miracle. Good public transport links to the city (we have used it on New Year's Day). But the city can also be reached by car in 10 to 15 minutes, as well as the lock pill in the eastern direction. Christmas Garden was a dream. Rooms are for the price o.k., you can't buy them with a 3 or 4 page hotel...expensive flat-screen TVs and small water cookers are available for the day.

The situation is very bad.

Is a big old villa located at 7 km from center of old town. There are hills and forest. We can see from window the suspension railway.High traffic on the street. You must be carefull when came with car because the street are on the slope . 
Five places for parking near villa and a big places 30 m downstreet but no light in the night and no surveillance, 4 euro per day.
The room are large and clean, but old furniture. Interesting view around with old abandoned houses. 
The bathroom are nice and it has window.
The breakfast is serve by owner and is ok.
The program of reception is in the morning till 10,30 and in the afternoon after 15.00.

Cheap price, kindly owner

We were in Dresden for a couple of nights, so this boarding house matched our expectations - not expensive and decent. There is discomfort about the distance from the historic center, but we had bikes and we enjoyed walking along the park area of the Elbe. Public transportation is also basically available. Near the two attractions is a blue miracle bridge. The first funicular. The building is quite old, converted from communal apartments)) but in the rooms it is clean and tidy, only the corridors give back the distant past. Good breakfast. The price and quality ratio was close to a good one.

Not bad for a while.

The breakfast is fine, but the rest is not worth talking about, the service is bad and the prices are overpriced, the only good thing is the situation, we will not come back.

Get out of here!

All in all, it was okay for two nights. Unfortunately, the night was very short on the street outside the door, because you could only sleep with the windows open, otherwise the room was too warm. The room was otherwise nice and furnished with everything necessary.

In fact, almost everything is already in the headline... the room was generously sized, neatly furnished and very clean... the reception was friendly and family friendly... the breakfast is good and plentiful... we'll definitely be back... 😉

Thanks to a short vacation, it was spontaneously possible to get a very nicely decorated room for one night, with a great location right at the blue wonder, not far from the bus station to get to the center and a highly recommended breakfast.
