We stayed four nights and enjoyed it very much. 
Location: It was easy to get to from the highway driving up from Fussen.  We liked that it is in a neighbourhood not much frequented by tourists yet we had no trouble at all reaching all the sights we wanted to see by foot.  
Host/owner.  Alexandra was helpful and good to communicate with both before and during our stay.   Having said that, if you need 24/7 front desk service this may not the place for you as the front desk is not manned for much of the day once breakfast is finished.  
Room/facilities:  We found the decor throughout and in our room to be quite attractive.  The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a huge walk-in shower with good water pressure.  We had a balcony overlooking the “courtyard” (cobbled parking area) and enjoyed sitting out one evening when the weather was suitable.  
Breakfast:  There were two options - yogurt & muesli with a fruit salad or meat & cheese.  Each came with a boiled egg and some buns with which to enjoy Alexandra’s homemade jams.  The quality was good and the servings generous but after three days I pined for some variety.

Enjoyable stay in a beautiful city

The Hotel im Hof came highly recommended by friends who had stayed there on several visits. Due to family issues we unfortunately had to postpone our vacation. However the interaction with the Hotel in Hof both by phone and email was very pleasant. All of our questions about the stay and the neighborhood and our requests were addressed in a friendly and professional manner. 
I am keeping it on the top of my list of Munich hotels.

Pleasant and friendly

I prefer small, owner-managed city hotels where you feel at home. This is exactly how I felt at the hotel in the yard. Already on the phone, the contact was extremely friendly and personal. The breakfast, three menus to choose from (because of Corona), with a nice selection of sandwiches, homemade jam, excellent coffee (special wishes are met), tempted to sit for a long time. The rooms, very good beds. Since I come to Munich more often, it will become my main hotel.

Small and fine

The room was fine, but in the bathroom we would have expected a foot mat to get dry feet into the room. One of the pillows smelled of moisture and we had to put it away. We didn't realize that the parking is partly in an autolift and you only get to the car when the reception is occupied. This makes planning a little cumbersome or you have to think carefully about whether you want to leave and when. The breakfast was fine and basically the hotel has charm, but because it's indoors, it's also a little darker. Overall, we found price/performance not congruent.

Unfortunately, we just found it OK.

In Munich, finding bad hotels is an easy exercise. It is very difficult to find a good one. After years of searching for the hotel in the courtyard, I have finally reached my goal. What matters to me: kindness at the reception, a good bed, a nice shower, a good breakfast. And besides, it must be easily accessible by public transport. I especially enjoyed the fact that the value is placed on creating a nice atmosphere. My room at the hotel was really not oversized, but completely adequate and without any use traces. I especially enjoyed the fact that in the bathroom a business plan was perfect and there were no environmentally friendly liquids. Breakfast with a very tasty breakfast and early morning transits. I especially enjoyed the fact that the hotel has a two-hour-hour-hour-hour schedule. If the hotel is not yet available, then why is it so convenient to get out of the hotel?

Finally.

This is one of the nicest small hotels I have ever stayed in. The property is newly refurbished, beautifully designed and immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet, and we had our own private balcony/terrace. The hosts are friendly and clearly working hard to offer a first rate hotel experience. The included breakfast featured many house-made items (the jams were especially good) and everything from the china to the breads and cheeses and yogurt offerings were of very high quality. The quiet urban residential neighborhood has many attractive amenities, including two nearby stops on the U-bahn that get you to the city center quickly. For the price we paid, this was an exceptional value.

A wonderful place for a relaxing stay in Munich

Very nice hotel for 1-2 nights in Munich. Central location, parking places in front of the hotel, attentive and friendly service. The rooms (e.g. with balcony) are in good condition and clean. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is wonderful. With much love an exceptionally versatile breakfast is offered, the owner couple helps with the service and is very convenient. We would certainly come back and can put this small hotel to any person who is looking for a nice accommodation away from the big chain and appreciates personal contact with the owner. The price here is in accordance with the general level. Here you put a lot of effort.

New building. Stylish. Boutique Style. Great. Clean & Organized. Very friendly Welcoming. Only 2 car parking, make your reservation fast. Good location. Amazing good „handmade“ Breakfast. Highly to recommend, no doubt.

Very nice and quiet Hotel in Munich. The staff was very friendly and courteous. 
They offer an excellent breakfast which was included in my rate. 
It is also possible to hire bikes for and acceptable price.

Super Hotel

Everything you'd expect from a hotel: nice, personal atmosphere, tasteful, beautiful rooms with terrace, excellent beds, a quiet location so you can sleep with your windows open and that, in a central location on Schelling Street!
