Standard 3 star hotel, key lock for room doors and left at reception when you leave the room. Lift and stairs access to room. Staff super friendly. Breakfast was ok. Starts at 7am though so a bit annoying if you have an early day trip.

Decent size room, desk and chair in room. No ac so the room was warm at times. Bed was hard and pillow was flat as a pancake.

15min walk to the old town and 5-7mins to the station entrance.  Location was a bit dicey did not feel safe walking alone late evening would not want to attempt to do that walk late at night. It was ok during the day.

Staff can book taxi for you, though mine appeared to be a private vehicle amd not the standard taxi,  no metre and expensive trip to the airport €90 (compared to approx €70 when googled). But not much you can do when travelling in the very early hours, so get them to confirm approx cost and make sure it is metre taxi

Standard 3 star hotel, near Munich central station

I'm just giving the hotel a satisfactory one here. But I'm just going to give it a little more. First of all, I want to highlight the highlights. Location: not far from the main train station, S and U trains are also easily accessible. It's comfortable to stroll into the city. And there's also a lot to discover in the immediate vicinity. Reception: I was received by a lady, very friendly. Helpful and well-mooded. Rooms: something that came into the years. The room has a little 80 years of feeling. The highlight here: a small refrigerator. The bathroom is convenient. And the housekeeper would have some construction sites. The lights are damaged, the shower is running better. Breakfast: but I can't blame, big meal. The breakfast has been very nice. An elderly person has also taken a look at a large and bad meal. I'm just going to talk to her about it.

Very poor service

This was very convenient for the main station, supermarkets, the tourist information office, hop on bus and other travel agencies. There was a 1pm check in time which was handy. It wasn't over friendly but everything ran smoothly and there was a lift. Breakfast was supposed to be free but I was charged 9 Euros per person per day. There was no cooked food but the buffet was adequate. The lady on breakfast duty every day worked very hard. The hotel was a little dark with old fashioned pictures and there was no air conditioning. However the bed was comfortable (there was only one pillow each) and all was clean. A kettle would have been nice for hot drinks but that doesn't seem to be standard in German hotels. The WiFi tended to dip in and out.

Convenient and adequate

Staff complains about noise in the middle of the day with no reason. Vibe of the hotel was not good. The staff was prejudiced. and they believed that we would drink and make noise at night. They made endless complaints in the middle of the day about the use of sound. Overall, the hotel left an unnerving feeling
Rooms were okay

Weird staff

Central location; very close to the HBH, very friendly staff; excellent breakfast. The facilities are a little outdated; the TV is totally outdated, the Wi-Fi is not working; cleanliness only gets 2 stars. Nevertheless, I can absolutely recommend the hotel, just because of the very pleasant atmosphere that is felt throughout the house.

Recommended, although some improvements could be made

Although I was only staying at the hotel for one night on business, I was able to enjoy a super friendly service. Rarely experienced, especially by the lady on April 3, 2023. Very helpful and attentive. Even at my request at 2:00 p.m. a lunch package was prepared for the next day.

Service & kindness very difficult to overcome

We stayed for 5 nights in February 2023 and enjoyed the central location of the Hotel. The hotel is also very close to the main train station where a whole range of goods and services are available.  This was very useful at night and on Sundays when many things are closed in Munich..  The rooms were comfortable and suited our needs.  As others have mentioned, the breakfast was a delight.  What we really enjoyed, however, was the friendly staff.  A special shout out to our Scottish friend in the breakfast area who really made us feel very welcome.  We noted that many locals and business travellers were staying at the hotel which made our experience feel more local.

Small Friendly Local hotel

Hotel located 15 meters from the city centre, and 3 meters from the train station, near the oktoberfest. Breakfast is very good and varied, with fresh products and with a very friendly and attentive staff.

The hotel is convenient for both visits to the old town and the Theresienwiese. Positive: - sympathetic, friendly and helpful reception - very rich breakfast, wide selection of juices, fruit, sweets and attentive & friendly service Negative: - Functionality of the room equipment can be improved. e.g. defective lamps, refrigerator
