The Room, was very warm. The shower and bathroom was in the hallway. Toilet was super warm and toilet ring was loose. stairs are very narrow. Ofcourse you can also expect some noise from the outside because this is located in the RLD. However the reason you notice the noise is mostly due to windows not being soundproof at all. The staff and the bar is nice but its the only good thing they have going

Awful only one friendly staff call mark.
The rooms were grubby and smelly.
On leaving we were up at 630 awaiting a taxi to the airport this ment to be a 24 hour bar the grumpy old night staff complained that he was to busy to pour drinks as cleaning the floor was more important...£100 per night expensive grotty place even breakfast was awful 

NEVER AGAIN LIKE A YOUTH HOSTEL

Hotels in the red-light neighborhood. Small and very spacious rooms. Tiny closet. They wash in hotel-style rooms for hours. Bath and shower in the hallway to share with three or four rooms. High-floor rooms without elevator and with very narrow stairs, like a military ship, very uncomfortable for carrying luggage and for those with movement problems. Single-glass window and precarious closure, in a neighborhood with noise from the street until dark night.

If you can't find anything better...

This hotel is in the center of Amsterdam in the red area. It is very safe. I was alone and not worried at all. The staff is there 24/4. The hotel is near Dam Square and a metro station but everything can be done on foot. I really liked this hotel although it is small and simple. Very good quality price ratio. I will definitely go back there.

It's a small hotel, but it's very nice.

A pleasant hotel with a perfect location right in the red light district. The room was clean, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty (eggs, toast, juice, coffee, tea) with a hotel bar with good beer.

Good hotel, perfect location

Very centralised. The breakfast was basic but good. In the middle of the red quarter, where there is a lot of atmosphere but quiet, no noise. The comfortable beds, with daily cleaning service. The staff quite well, especially those who work in the bar. The only thing we didn't like was that at breakfast when we were going to serve coffee we were told that they didn't do more when the breakfast schedule was not yet over, but in the end they did more for us.

I stayed at the Torenzicht Hotel from 27 to 31 October 2022, the hotel is in a very central location located in the red light district, for 20-year-olds it's more than fine, (bathrooms and shower are in common but always clean) the beds roll but so sure you'll be plagued and you won't even notice it.

Low expenditure maximum yield

Let's start with the positive aspects: - central location, low price, free cancellation and they didn't take the goose before arrival. Now let's start with the negative ones: - dirty sheets (I add photos) - steep stairs (like all ams struts), but with a heavy suitcase becomes a problem - carpets in the room, not very hygienic - towel change almost ok (they left only one clean instead of two) - breakfast starts at 8:30, so if you can't do any of the activities you want to do and you can't take advantage of them, it's also not abundant and not suitable for vegans - the mirror in the room above the laundry room was really high, where I put myself in the bathroom - the bed can go well for a few days, but then the bathrooms can't go well (they left only one clean instead of two) - so if you don't have a lot of activities to do and you can't use them, you can't find a lot of it anyway, but we never have a lot of fun in the bathroom, and we

Just returned from a great 3 night stay in this Hotel 

It’s in an incredible location right on the main boulevard for the Red Light Area

It offered us the best value, not en-suite rooms, but the showers and toilets right opposite the rooms…. furthermore there is H&C hand basin in room

Breakfast great (Cereals would be a good addition), nice bar/not expensive 

The stairs are fairly narrow and steep (no lift), so you need to be fairly agile (and compass-mentis) when negotiating!!

Will hope to return one day!!

Very Enjoyable Stay

You guys was so accommodating and friendly and we felt very welcome. Me and my brother would like to thank you for an amazing stay. The breakfast was handy, the toilet and shower and room was immaculate and that bed I haven't slept that well in years!!. When I come for my second trip it is definitely somewhere I'd stay again. We had to check out at 11am and our flight wasn't till 10pm so the hotel kindly held on to our bags till we was leaving thanks again
