The hotel was almost empty, 

The staff were very abrupt.  Making the minimal contact. (Both when checking in and out)

Our rooms were on the third floor and there were no lifts or offers of assistance with our luggage - so we had to make several trips with our heavy motorcycle gear.

There was however a really nice bar down the road so we didn’t have to spend the evening in the hotel

A little bit of humanity and a few smiles would have made all the difference 

Not the warmest welcome 

The hotel Wanda is very difficult to evaluate. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean. For breakfast you can choose from a variety of menus. It was very tasty and we were well served. Now for the room. We chose the hotel Wanda because there were no other alternatives. The high score that other reviewers gave the hotel we cannot trace. At the window there is only a yellow roll. So you wake up at sunrise. The separate beds are very simple, the mattresses are thin and partially spaced. When you turn it, it snores in the bathroom. The bathroom is clean, the shower is very dense. Hand towels and room cleaning are very close. The evaluation of the staff is very close. But we can't really tell how much of a hurting factor is the wood. It's very hard to get away from the living room.

Acceptable

The hotel is now not big, rather unspectacular. We could park in the backyard for free. The staff were absolutely nice and friendly, they also speak a little German. Our room was outside the backyard and really quiet, everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, now also completely sufficient but nothing special. In addition, there is a daily lunch offer at a good price. Overall, we liked the hotel very well, great price/performance ratio.

Room and bathroom were nice, clean and tidy, equipped with necessary stuff. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff very helpful. They have bikes, so you can rent for a day for reasonable price. Price vel quality very good. It’s wort to take a room there.

Old fashion- but really recommend

We picked the location of Ketrzyn to break the stage from Tallinn to Danzig during our bike ride in Eastern Europe, finding on booking this hotel for 37 euros double with breakfast... we were skeptical, but instead we found a large and comfortable room, with dated but clean furniture, spacious bathroom with window, breakfast prepared on time and very good. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, eating a good fried cod at very low prices. It also had free indoor parking.

Incredible quality to price ratio

Very good 2 star hotel. Secure parking, good location in the city, near shopping mall, clean and tidy. In short, good quality at a really low price. The price for a triple room is 189 zł per day. Tasty food, large portions at a low price. The hotel's restaurant is open until 22h. Breakfast that costs 8 zl can be selected from several options. Pleasant staff. In particular, we would like to thank the waiter Krzysiek for a good, prompt service, a good local beer delivery.
If someone falls asleep, it's best not to choose a room whose windows go out into the street.
Anyway, we liked it, we recommend it and ourselves will come back.

Fine hotel !!!

As far as the quality ratio is concerned, the price is very good because for thirty euros a night you cannot order large luxuries.Antiquated but very clean accommodation and bathroom.As for breakfast, you are offered several menus to choose from and the price is 3€, which seems to me cheap according to the food on offer.

The place is quite unspectacular but the room was very pleasant, service perfect, and the restaurant fine. The best argument in favor of this hotel is the price, which was very low. I also found the staff very helpful and nice.

Excellent price/quality ratio

I can recommend the Hotel Wanda. 
We were in Ketrzyn in August 2012 and the hotel was very quiet as it was also the city itself. Breakfast in the restaurant was a basic breakfast, omelet, coffee and bread, need to buy drink for yourself.
Very inexpensive Hotel with large and clean rooms.
