Blume Apts is right in the heart of the Salamanca district in Madrid. This is a fancy and expensive area in Madrid, all the brand names are around here. if you stay at the Blume you will be at a walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and beautiful spots. it is about 10 minutes walking distance from the Chueca district where great restaurants and people on the streets are plenty.
I visited in March last year just when the pandemic was starting but I
I had to mark it as October 2020 because the trip advisor won't allow me to go back further.
Just a reminder, madrid is a walking city, the beauty is all over. people dress well. Cosmopolitan.

Large apartments in one of the best areas of Madrid. Excellent communication. Long stay in which we feel at home, both by the family treatment of the staff, always attentive to our needs, and by the good atmosphere of the neighborhood.

Excellent treatment and location.

Large, refurbished attic studio close to Ópera with three beds (2 singles and 1 double sofa bed). Very good storage area, kitchen and bathroom. Roof is low in several areas (1.85 metres) and very central location means that it is obviously noisy at night (annoying if you are a light sleeper). Three apartments below are holiday rentals and need some serious sound-proofing!

Large, refurbished attic studio close to Ópera

I have stayed in this hotel for several months on four occasions, as I am very pleased with it. Comfortable when you get used to the peculiarities of the building. Very quiet. Well equipped kitchen, with sinks (which I have not used) and good washing machine. Very good water in the shower. Good wifi functioning. Very attentive and friendly office service. The location is difficult to improve.

Pleasant, quiet and in a sensational location.

We stayed at Blume for a month. It's a fashionable, chic neighborhood, just a block from Retiro Park. We walked to Atocha train station, and the metro was nearby. All the city is easily accessed by walking or public transportation. Management is on site- we never had a problem, but it was reassuring to see staff daily. The beds and furniture are comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well supplied, and there was a washing machine.
We were in a 2 bedroom. The back bedroom was very quiet, the front bedroom had tolerable  street noise with the windows open.

We had booked in these apartments by despegar.com and a day before we were notified of the change... we were transferred to the Blume Conde Aranda. By a mistake we first arrived at Blume Cruz, which is in a very good area, near the Gran Via and the Porta del Sol (centre). We were transferred from the Blume Conde Aranda apartments to a much larger apartment a few steps from the Porta de Alcala, very kindly returned us the breakfast money as this place did not serve (3 euros per person per day, if taken down from the blume cruz apartments).

We were happy, just what we needed, well-located, very good price, size, beauty and simplicity, well equipped, super friendly staff, willing to help in everything, I would definitely return and highly recommend it.

 Location inmejorable

The location is unbeatable. Cerca del Parque El Retiro, Puerta de Alcalá, Calle Serrano, etc. The attention of the staff is first, they made us center as in our house.

Excellent location and treatment.

Central. Very close to Puerta del Sol. Clean. Very good sound-proofing to street and internally. Excellent WiFi. Good value. The automated check-in worked perfectly: just be aware that it is slow. We will return.

The couch was uncomfortable to say the least and the kitchen was poorly equipped. There are very strict cleaning requirements upon check out. The only reason I would recommend this place to someone is because it is located in a safer part of Madrid, and it feels like you are leas likely to get pick-pocketed here than in central Madrid.
