After clicking the wrong date when booking in the hostel, I immediately called them to explain the situation, expecting some help from their side in order to modify my booking dates. They denied any help and took all the money from my booking.

The customer is very attentive to the customer service.

For the price it has, you can't find anything better, you can't expect luxuries, but it does the trick. Very well located, and you get discounts for parking nearby to leave the vehicle at night.

Well, for the price.

I have been to this guest house and I did not like the organization, first of all I do not think it is correct that after booking and paying it is communicated a few days after the check in will have to be made at another place. When we arrive we do not find anyone to welcome us, although we have started our arrival after 9:00, we found ourselves with our luggage looking for this address around the streets so that we can have the keys and check in, at the turn of the keys we are required to have a supplement to have tightened the check in time. They offer narrow and small rooms, uncomfortable, without a back seat, cleaning leaves much to be desired, beds without changing the beds, the mattress with old mattresses, as well as European standards and the delivery of the keys.

It leaves much to be desired

The only positive thing is the central position and the kindness of the staff. The rest is all messed up. Extremely small room, there's no room to move around, very uncomfortable little bed, smells of smoke permeated in the walls, half-baked post-war infusions, as well as the half-way shower, bathroom so small that it's hard to even get in and I'm not exaggerating, chaos of any kind every hour from the next rooms.

I'm not here!

It's a hostel that has a good location and that nearby you have a bunch of bars, restaurants and shops where you can have breakfast the rooms are small and the bathrooms are dwarf that if you hit a room with a bathroom the safe is a payment you have to put in a euro every time you open the doors and the checking you have to do it on the parallel street in Fuencarral with a 3:00 p.m. schedule.

Good location

Well, picking up the keys at 3:00 p.m. seems excessive to me because there are so many people who waste a lot of time, that's if leaving at 11:00...my room was filled with tobacco that was a horror.

It's just a good idea to buy a house.

We stayed here for 4 nights after stopping by in Barcelona...It was a big complicated to find even the taxi driver was not sure where to go or how to get there! We also spent time trying to get there by Metro prior as per the instructions we were given even though it turned out to be wrong! Eventually we found the reception area after 2hours near main madrid city centre high street within a building where we had to go to check in before going to our room!We then got checked in and walked 10mins to the building where our room was located. We was given a front door key and room key which gave us easy access during all hours. The room was small and compact and we only has one small wardrobe very tighly spaced for 2 people. We ended up leaving our things in our cases. The bathroom was also very tight but we had some soap, gel provided if we needed it. Our balncony was nice just such a shame there was a massive air con unit in it which prevented us from standing there to get fresh air. I have to admit the street we were on was a nosey busy one and there were times I could not sleep from rubbish vans/shouting and drunkness! But overall it was another nice short trip...One of the colleagues in our building reception area gave us a bottle of champagne as he liked us and wanted to add a touch.It was a trip we would never forget We was close to few metro stations and town centre and food places Location wise was suitable and easy to get to places.

Short and Sweet

I was with a friend staying in this hostel and the fact that it is wonderful, if it is true that you have to go from one key to another hostel in the street fuencarral parallel to the hostel alkstana, but it is very close. The room is small, but the beds are very comfortable that is important, our TV is working and the heating too. The bathroom is small only one person can, but the shower is fine. We were very happy, because the location is perfect, few meters from Gran Vía and its metro stop.

Hostal Alistana is located very close to the center near the highway the hostal has some of the rooms not very large but comfortable and well heated the staff is very satisfactory and it cooks you the bathroom is a little small but all right the cleaning of the room and the hostal is great advice to those who want to spend a vacation with serenity being in the center

Vacation in Madrid

A small hotel in the centre of Madrid but with many flaws that don't make you want to go back. You have to first show up to another hotel to get the key (the hotel was then located on the side street). The main entrance door to the hotel on the second floor of the building is very difficult to open: you easily lose 5 minutes there! The room received does not look like the bathroom photo communicated by the hotel. It is certainly narrow but it is not a big problem: the upper sheets are not clearly changed and the earplugs are not wet. The servants smell a scent.
