Bad hotel, no reception, poor room, no comfortable, no very noisy insulation, wet blanket hanging from the window, no nice staff speaking only Spanish, avoid.

Not to mention a hotel.

Stayed for 1 night on a busy weekend, nicely positioned near all attractions but in a quiet area.

I arrived late but was greeted by manager who stayed late to allow me access.

Def would stay here again

Nice little Hostel in heart of Madrid

The room had 2 wedding beds, one of them with a higher bed, so with 3 children, it was ideal. It was very clean and the owner was very kind, allowing us to make the entrance before the scheduled time, and kept our luggage on the day of departure, so we could enjoy a few more hours of Madrid without having to load the luggage.

We were married and had 2 children aged 12 and 7 years old. wedding bed and wedding bed with bed. we could fit 5. very clean. comfortable. economical. well located. although it is in the middle of Fuencarral Street near Gran Via is very soundproof. the owner is very pleasant.

The staff is always available for everyone who likes me and very friendly and friendly. The rooms are very clean and the location is super central and well-located. I will definitely be back.

The manager or the owner of the establishment started by calling me unreasonable (in bad manners) to arrive before the scheduled time (it was 4 p.m.) because I had to leave to make a reservation (and the reception was 24 p.m.).I hurriedly got off the plane and arrived on time, nothing more, started telling me a story about Canarian people who had destroyed the hostel.. showed me a room.. I don't know everything nonsense, since I don't want to come. The gentleman was talking to me... Then he told me that I had to pay in cash that I don't know what I'm not carrying, at the same time, with the fact that I had to pay in cash from the hostel to get money out in a single box so that the gentleman would pay for it.

Horrible treatment and lack of seriousness.

This place is clean, safe, well kept, and the location is just perfect; right in the heart of Madrid, in a pedestrian street. The owner is a very helpful person, and everything worked just fine. If you don't care for luxury, this is a very affordable and nice place to stay.

Once more I stayed at the hostel Rico, no doubt on my next stay in the capital I will return.Excellent location, cleanliness, amenities, but especially the treatment Dani and his father give you, close and willing to help you in everything.Un 10!!Y thanks for everything.

Excellent hostel and very well ubicated.

The rooms are very nice, they are large, with TV and Internet. booked for the same day although I think it was lucky because from where it is located I think it should be filled very easily.

Well, the quality-price is good.

We stayed here for 4 nights in September.  The hostal is situated in a pedestrianised street, only about 10 to 15 mins walk from the Puerta del Sol. The entrance is a bit unprepossessing and you have to ring a bell to gain entrance. It is situated on the first floor of an apartment block.We had a double room with a shower and WC which was situated at the rear of the hostal, overlooking a courtyard, so, apart from the odd noisy fellow guest it was quiet.. It was spotlessly clean.They don't serve breakfast, but we found a small cafe about 5 minutes walk away where we could get "tostadas" and coffee for 1.50 Euros. We would recommend this hostal for its cleanliness and proximity to the Gran Via metro station. Also the red Madrid tour bus stops almost at the end of the road.
