Santa Croya de Tera

Anita and her family were very kind in their welcoming home, inviting us to have a drink with them and chat, and always willing to help.We felt at home and we felt sorry for ourselves!!! The village has very nice spots, including a river where you can bathe.

A comfortable parade on the Camino de Santiago.

We stopped by car from Madrid to Galicia. It's a hotel (hostel) with two rooms and I think a couple of small rooms. It's comfortable compared to the highway, beautiful and clean, very polite managers. Unico neo, you can't cook (for lack of administrative permission, not because you miss the kitchen!), but just prepare breakfast. This is the only reason I don't give a full score...

Great hotel to Galicia

My only regret was that we were there on a night they weren't cooking dinner. I hear the dinners are very good! Nevertheless, we were provided with a delicious meat and cheese platter and wine, so we certainly did not suffer!
The facilities were clean, beautiful, and peaceful.

Very comfortable

Thanks Anita for your kindness and hospitality. I was sick while walking the Camino and Anita welcomed me with kindness and warmth and made sure I had a comfortable room and bed to snuggle into. Her cooking was tasty and very comforting. Casa Anita is very clean and extremely comfortable


Relaxing stop on the Via de la Plata

I had a great time, Anita's sister and her father treated me as if they were my family, volveré, visited the whole area and enjoyed it, in particular the natural swimming pool over the river.I met people from Catalonia, cadiz etc, genius.

It is excellent.

This is a must stop on the Camino. We were greeted by the owner and she showed us to the room. The beds, pillows, linens, were top quality - the best I have seen on the Camino. 

When we checked in she asked if we needed laundry to be cleaned - and we said yes. She told us there was one load ahead of us, and told me when to return. It was late, and she started a fire in a big room in the back where we hung clothes to dry. A bunch of us played cards and drank wine while we waited. 

Dinner was great. Fun and festive. Good quality, ample sizes, and nice variety. 

The overall attitude if owner and staff wad excellent and VERY warm and welcoming. Just what was needed after miles if walking. 

Wonderful in so many ways

The hospitality, treatment and kindness of Conchi and her sister is spectacular, making you feel like you're at a friend's house, and the facilities are very clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed a good refreshing break at Casa Anita after a long day's walk. They have good clean amenities and Anna, the daughter of the owner, was such a helpful and friendly host. There is a little supermarket a few hundred meters from there and then a well equipped kitchen to prepare your own dinner. The next days walk is one of the most beautiful ones to Villar de Farfon where Craig and Dorothea are the hosts of a small but very special albergues.
