This was a joke to be honest. I understand for the price of 20 EUR I couldn’t expect too much but for what I had to experience you should have paid me for staying there :). Room literally a jail, never seen anything so small. Bathroom without working shower; AC above your head - too cold; no towels. My neighbors were slamping the door whole nigh as they went smoking to the emergency stairs (left open whole night), the best joke is you have same key from each room - I accidentally went in to different room.
To be fair - the breakfast was very basic but nice.

I'm going to start with the 40th price for two nights, given the market price it's very correct I arrived at 8:30 and I got my room at 9:30 perfect, usually you're told to go back to lunch whatever the hotel Take the keys and give the wifi code that runs even in my room nice little room, everything there is shower toilet wc tv towel and toilet required there's the metro station 2 minutes walk and from there you can go anywhere in Istanbul example of the hotel in sultan ahmet 15 minutes on the other hand there's a road where it runs right in front of the hotel but from inside you hear a little maybe provide plugging for the sensitive acoustic but not at the price seen there's a problem

It's perfect.

First time visting Turky. Me and my friends had the best time ever. The hotel was very  comode with large rooms. We alsow had the breakfest included wich was very tasteful and fresh. We stayd for two nights and three days and I’m looking forward to come and visit again


Trip

I was in Istanbul for a day, on my layover from Manchester U.K. to Mumbai. I stayed at this hotel. The hotel was really very cheap. The reason for that seems so obvious after staying at the hotel. This is a basic basic hotel. The reception people were nice though, although they had some language issues in English, but I managed. They had free Wi-Fi and breakfast in such a low priced room, it was unbelievable. 

Bare Shell Hotel

Convenient location (Kemberlitas stop), near the Sultanakhmet district with its main attractions (Aya-Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc.). The rooms are not large, but everything is necessary, breakfast is modest, but there is something to choose from.

I stayed here for 3 days and went absolutely awesome. Though, staff were quite accommodating but the room itself was fabulous for a solo or group travelers. Breakfast were nice for a traditionally Turkish preparation.

Location wise, just a bit far from Istanbul proper but good to have a metro bus which gives an easy and affordable transportation.

Overall, it was a good stay.

Hotel Satisfaction

Staff was friendly and empathetic on arrival when I explained how I book another hotel but was told I had no booking at the previous hotel. Arif was really nice and helpful so also the owner of the hotel. The hotel is heat and the food is good. Will recommend

"Nice Experience"

The only thing OK about the hotel was the manager. We had problems every day that we stayed there. The first day we left the clothes to go to the laundry and they came back with holes. We asked them to take some precautions and they didn't do anything. The second day we went to complain about it and a guy who doesn't even work at the hotel was at the reception and didn't do the slightest thing to help us, not even turn over the phone from the laundry room. The bathroom drawer, the unloading and the hair dryer in the room were having problems. On the last day, we simply changed the time in Istanbul. They had to take out their coffee before 1am and warn us. When I went to the reception and asked the employee to return things to the place in the restaurant.

Worst hotel I've ever been to!!

Dedem Hotel is 10km from Istanbul airport for 1 night in transit by expensive and too expensive, following my request to come and pick us up I'm 106$ = 80€ I can't confirm it arrived a man takes us in hand calls a taxi for 6=60€ too expensive he falls to 50€ a little lost we accept.

If you're staying only one night he'll look after you very well. Small room, reasonable breakfast, but the service is very good! We received many initial tips from the hotel manager and they helped a lot.
