Center of old town , easy access to all attractions! Very very attentive owner - available all the time . Lots of good suggestions regarding food places, lokum shopping etc. Breakfast location is superb. Ask for rooms on first floor if you have big bags ! 

Excellent accommodation 

We loved our stay here at efe guesthouse. The owner picked us up from the otogar and was very polite and hospitable throughout our stay. The dorm room was clean, comfortable and warm at night, even had a tv. The bathroom was clean and had hot water too. The owner described and showed us the sights on a map, even pointed out some restraints with great Turkish food below (as the breakfast room had glass windows and could see out to the beautiful town below).
Would definitely recommend this guesthouse and the location was superb.

Absolutely wonderful

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel, the fancy panorama of the rooms and terraces, the cozy and clean rooms, the excellent breakfast, thanks to the owner for saving us and taking us to the Crystal Terrace.

It's a fantastic place.

I have nice days there. Perfect view from my room, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Really I like my room, clear room and bathroom. I was there in the summer but i wanna visit this place at winter too.

I had a lovely stay at Efe Guesthouse. I am pretty sure the owner gave me one of the best rooms, even though I probably hadn't booked it, as it was off-season. The room was cozy, warm and tastefully decorated. The common room had a lovely view of the town. The owner was very helpful, booking my bus for me so I didn't have to travel up to the bus booking station in the next town. Quiet, lovely place.

Lovely place

The guest house is in a historic Ottoman house, so the experience itself is special and interesting: crumbling wooden floors, small stone street, beautiful view of the valley. Obviously this entails a narrow space, but I have always found everything very comfortable and clean. The plentiful Turkish breakfast is served on the top floor where from the windows you have a 180 degree view of the valley and the Ottoman houses nearby.

SUPER kindness and great prices

The owner was lovely and very helpful with any enquiry.  The guesthouse literally 3 mins walk (20 stairs) from old town square! 
Breakfast is ample with as much tea and coffee as you want.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. 
Mencilis Bulak Cave and Tokatli Canyon / Crystal Terrace both a short drive away.

Efe Guesthouse -Home Away from Home!

We stayed there two nights. The location is perfect and very central, the room was really cute and very clean. The hosts are very kind and always ready to help! The breakfast was very good and the view wonderful! 

Perfect

Family hostel and clean in a typical Ottoman house. Good location in the old town of Safranbolu. The hostel is run by a Turkish couple and the woman speaks English, so she can give you advice on tours/restaurants. They are very helpful and will not hesitate to answer your questions, call you a taxi or share with you some lounges. There is a six-bed dormitory and individual rooms, breakfast is included and served at home, on a terrace with a nice view of Safranbolu.

Reviews for Russian-speaking tourists: Very good hotel right in the center of Saffronball. Everything is within walking distance. The owners of the hotel are a wonderful family: everyone will tell, tell. They speak English perfectly, especially the girl.. The rooms are cozy. Breakfast is delicious and full.. It was winter - warm, cozy. We have to break down - there are shelves for shoes. but you can take shoes with you.
