Self contained room in the garden( was a double garage).  Ensuite,  microwave fridge.  Ample food supplied to make your own breakfast.  Friendly helpful hosts.  15 mins walk to town,  lovely Lough Neagh nearby.  I’ve stayed in many B&Bs.  This was the best.  Room has a double bed and a single bed. Spacious but homely and clean.

Great B&B

We stayed here for three nights and took the short train ride everyday to explore Belfast. The property itself is spacious and quiet not to mention spotlessly clean. The owners were very helpful and provided us with everything we needed for a memorable stay. We can't recommend the place enough and will definitely stay there next time we're in the north.

A Great Place To Stay To Explore Belfast

Welcome, large room for 3 people.Equipped with a kitchenette......nothing is missing, it's fine.Free parking on site.Sadly for our departure, the owner didn't get up....and our breakfast has been prepared since the day before in our kitchen......with industrial products in vacuum.Moreover, it was cold and when we asked for heating, we were advised to put on sweaters....That's right, it was all without heat.

There is no exception.

The room was well equipped, warm and cosy. Michelle, the Proprietor was extremely friendly and courteous and nothing was a problem. I forgot my phone charger and she lent me hers. I'd highly recommend Ardvale and look forward to staying here again.

Home from home

We stayed in the converted garage. The room was spacious and kitchen facilities such as sink, microwave and a fridge, with also a sitting area for breakfast. The host always left plenty for the breakfast and some small extras like an Easter egg for my son. She also gave us advice about Belfast and other places to go. It is a walking distance from the centre of Antrim where we could eat or buy take-away. Thank you very much, Michele, for looking after us when we there.

Great location and excellent host!

What a beautiful bed and breakfast. From the outside it looks unsightly, but rooms and guest families are just top. Our room had its own kitchenette but no stove. The entire Continental breakfast is brought to the room by the hostess one evening in advance, so we could share it ourselves when there is breakfast. We saw the shower very positively. There is rarely so much warm and sufficient water on the island. This B&B is really highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights and my friend and I loved it. We stayed in the converted detached garage with a kitchenette containing fridge, kitchen unit, sink and microwave. Everything was provided for a continental breakfast. Fruit, breads, jam and marmalade, eggs, cereals, milk and cheese and there was a lot. Meant we could please ourselves as to the time we got up and ate, and even have some of it for lunch. The lady owner was really friendly. Place was very clean, shower hot and there was a little dining table. Heating was good too. Really lovely bed and breakfast. Our favourite in Northern Ireland.

BB is located close to Belfast Airport so useful for late arrival or early departure. Very welcoming staff, room OK, free breakfast but to prepare yourself. BB is a bit difficult to find in Antrim city.
