Half the room was empty. It was clear that at some point there was a settee there. 
We were in the same room for 4 nights. 
We spent quite a bit of time in the room which was very uncomfortable due not having a corner to chill, watch tv, read or play games. 
Sitting in the bed all the time when we were in the room was uncomfortable.

Issues,  staff members can do better..... Fortunately not working at Borehamwood site as that contract is finished but we will be booking at an alternative venue if we have to do any contract work near that location. Premier Inn seems to have a habit of air conditioning problems,  if the problem is the whole hotel you can understand this but when it is one room out of 200 you have to question it.  When you dk question it and the staff member is rude you simply don't return and pay your money to another service provider.

Issues

I have stayed at over 15 different Premier Inn hotels across the UK. I booked into stay at Premier Inn London Elstree / Borehamwood with my son & daughter in a family room on Saturday night in April 2024.  

ROOM
We were assigned room 607 & the room was set up as a family room (Double bed / sofa bed). This room overlooks the car park. The bathroom is made up with a bath / overhead shower. The room itself was very clean / tidy with very limited wear & tear (which is very usual in most Premier Inns nowadays). 

FOOD
I am unable to comment on the quality of food, but I highly recommend the Morrisons café 5 minutes up the road which is cheaper & if previous Premier Inn breakfasts are to go by better quality. When I checked into the hotel, I asked the lady on reception if I would need to book / pay for breakfast for the following day & was told “you don’t need to book breakfast you can just come down in the morning / pay on arrival”. We did as we were told in the morning only to be greeted by the rudest member of staff in the history of Premier Inn who told us because we hadn’t booked, we couldn’t come in. 

HOTEL, LOCATION & PARKING
The hotel is very easy to find & the sat nav takes you straight to the Premier Inn carpark. The carpark has lots of parking which you can see in my YouTube video. The parking cost £6 for one night which you pay on a machine in the carpark when you leave. The hotel does have quite a few takeaways that deliver to the hotel with no problems. The entrance floor to the hotel was covered in Cigarette butts & looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks (the smell of this was horrendous). The staff can’t say they aren’t aware of the state of the floor as one of them was contributing to the mess with his own cigarettes when we left.

STAFF
During my stay I only encountered two members of staff. The lady on reception when I checked in was helpful but wasn’t overly friendly / welcoming. The man I met in the restaurant in the morning was very rude & unhelpful. 

OVERALL
Overall I wouldn’t stay at this Premier Inn again, it wasn’t an horrendous stay but it also wasn’t brilliant. I have certainly stayed in better Premier Inns & been treated nicer by other Premier Inn staff. 

TIPS
- Book a different hotel.
-	 Don’t book breakfast & go the Morrisons café up the road.

Stayed at better Premier Inns with more welcoming / helpful staff.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and safe, but what sets this hotel apart was the staff. I stayed for 10 days whilst moving house and I can only say everyone went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. 
Every member of staff was polite and friendly and went out of their way to look after their guests. They made sure you have everything you need and never made you feel a burden if you asked for anything. 
I ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast a few times. Even when I hadn’t booked they accommodated me. When I ordered takeout for my room they called me when it was ready and had it all wrapped up waiting to ensure it was easy to transport and keep warm. 
Can’t praise this hotel enough.

Would highly recommend

Always a great stay. We like staying at this hotel as it is quiet, cosy and near where we want to visit. Such comfy rooms with air con and the bed is great! 

Great cosy Premier Inn

First time staying here and I will definitely be returning, staff are amazing really helpful and kind. Would like to thank Blaise and sky for making me feel welcome. Easy access to London, Room was clean and food was tasty no complaints from me 😊.

Enjoyable stay

Had a wonderful stay at elstree borehamwood premier inn. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room sizeable and spacious. Excellent breakfast with choices to choose for kids. The dinner service was excellent too.

Excellent stay as always

Clean, friendly, attentive staff, helpful and supportive. Disability friendly...happily stay here again if in the area.

Really pleasant stay

Nice hotel for a brief stay. No fuss, automated check-in and checkout but extremely warm and helpful front desk staff. Close to the bus stop and also not too far from the train - so it's easy to move around. Pro -tip: it's cheaper when you book online!

Convenience on a budget

The hotel was clean, first impression was excellent.. The check in was smooth and quick. The manager was welcoming, always had a smile on his face. The team was excellent too..Good breakfast with different choices of items to pick from. Dinner was lovely. Will always stay at this hotel. Easy access to central London.
