It was a great surprise. I've discovered the restaurant through the net and the food was amazing. Food is tasty and you don't even notice it is a vegetarian food.
Highly recommended for vegetarian and non vegetarian.

The best vegetarian restaurant I've ever been!

I was advised to reserve a table for dinner at Gate as it is very popular and rarely has s spare seat. 
We arrived and were seated by the window. The staff were cheerful and professional. 
We ordered starters and main courses. 
I started with a mezze of various hummus dishes and leaves followed by a vegi rosti with a Thai salad. Absolutely delicious. It is wonderful to have new tastes and The Gate did not disappoint. 
My daughter, who has recently turned vegetarian, was elated to be able to order anything from the  menu! She started with the Vietnamese rolls, followed by the the Thai green curry. She lived ever mouthful and has since revisited with her friends.

MAYBE THE OWNER SHOULD DECLARED HER STAFF AS THEY ARE all UNDER PAID cash in hand.

HORRIBLE living conditions of staff

if you don't ask the lazy lady for toiletress and towels they will not provide it.We were there and we doubt if they change the beddings because there still hairs in the bed when we open the  bed cover.They will not care to clean the room.Its far from the city of London and we really regreted why we chose this hotel.

Until you ask this lazy woman for toiletries and towels, you won't get them. When we were living there, we felt like they didn't change their bedding, because when we removed the blanket, there was hair on the bed. The room wasn't cleaned.

We stay there and we doubt they'll change the sheets because they still had hair on the bed when we took off the blankets. They don't call to clean the room. It's far from the city of London and we regret choosing this hotel.

The location is nice, the rooms are nice, but the staff is not friendly and they don't care about the customers, and you get the impression that you're an unwanted guest, and they may not like the Spaniards, but if that's their usual behavior, the owner needs to change receptionists.
