Stayed there because we had a budget to consider and there was breakfast included in the Price. Did not have time to visit their sauna. Friendly reception, free coffee. Furniture a bit outdated, but otherwise rooms are clean and beds ok. Breakfast was a bit overcooked. 

Okay for one night

I've read reviews from English-speaking internet users, they're still very strict. You can't ask a hotel for a complete renovation in a city that doesn't necessarily have a significant tourist hand. At this latitude, there aren't many tourists. It's a hotel built in the sixties. The reception, bar and restaurant are on the first floor.

To expensive for a budget hotel, and too poor for a business hotel. The Amado breakfast is poor, rooms average, so just stay in a budget hotel and go to a cafe for breakfast. Stayed here, as my wife was visiting friends, so wanted to work from the hotel. But the lounge and dining room had NO power sockets, so worked from the very small desk in the room, with machine coffee in the foyer. Bar closed early due to CV19, which made things worse. The hotel needs a makeover and bringing into 21st century. I should say that the staff have always been nice.

Neither Budget or Business Hotel. Needs an Upgrade

We stayed for one night in the family room (one double bed and one sofa bed for the kids). The room was very spacious and we were happy to have a bit of extra space with the kids (3 of them). There was also a nice little fridge so we could store some snacks and drinks. The bathroom featured a great big tub which especially the kids loved. There was free wifi which worked very well.

The beds were really uncomfortable, though. Now, if a super soft fluffy bed is your thing, then this is the hotel for you, but my back was killing me after a night on that mattress of thick air. We had a 4-month-old baby with us and the plan was to have her sleep between us in the double bed, but whenever one of us turned from one side to another, she rolled around on the fluffy bed like a soda can. Luckily the sofa bed was big enough to accommodate all three kids. The room (as the whole hotel) was a bit shabby and worn down - and perhaps not in the best shabby chic way.
There were no toiletries in the bathroom (except body wash for the shower) and I had of course forgot to bring my shampoo and conditioner with me. The reception offered them at rather steep prices, but we managed to find Sokos just around the corner and buy everything we needed there.

Then again, the room price was not too high and the breakfast was very good: varied cold cuts and cheeses, nice selection of bread, cereals, porridge, yoghurt, coffee and juices, fresh fruit and probably the best omelet I have ever had in a breakfast buffet (with cheese and herbs, delicious!).

Spacious room but shabby and uncomfortable

Old ugly but comfortable hotel and great restaurant inside. vintage rooms and corridors, saunas, friendly staff.

Ideally located near the bus station, 10 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the city center... the rooms are charming, even noisy, but clean and comfortable, the wifi - free - also works quite well. The saunas are rather small but pleasant. The breakfast is anyhow, but the restaurant is rather good quality. The staff is at first difficult, but they do the job, so why not... In short, unbeatable value for money on Pori, but only for a few nights...

It's cheap, it's in a good location, but...

I've been here for a week, the hotel is close to the center and the bus stop, it's without elevator, it's not furnished, it's got little bathrooms, it's clean, it's poor breakfast, it's polite, it's available.

As part of our return journey from Oulu via Turku to D Everything, we (my wife, dog Banja and I) stayed overnight for the first time in this hotel, located in the centre of the city. This hotel is easily accessible, is located next to the central bus station (Linja-Auto asema) and offers a large number of public, but also fee-paying (from 8:00) parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. Our arrival took place around 20:00 and we were very friendly to the multilingual staff of the reception. This hotel was also not opened (he was at that time in Vegas), because he was asked to go out and we also ordered him to have a small bag of snacks with a very busy dining room.

... centrally located and good for a night...

A stay in this hotel can only be counseled. Nice, dirty hallways give you a hint of what's waiting for you in the room. The whole interior is in a pathetic state, the bathroom is a relic from the '60s. That's why the rooms are bright and the street noise is audible even in closed windows. Breakfast is also an excuse. Cheapest food combined with a lack of choice, there's dirty dishes. That's rounding off the impression of this hotel. All this is available for over 100 euros a night. Who can, should make a big arch around this break-in. Absolutely inadequate.

The hotel looks rather old when you drive by. The staff is kinda friendly, but the rooms are below average in Finland. You can hear other rooms very clearly, so in case you wanted a nice peaceful stay, think something else. Bathrooms are dirty and straight from the 60s not in a good way.

The food served in the restaurant is the only reason Amado got more than 1 star
