This hotel used to be good value for money with clean and silent rooms, and attentive staff. Over the last months, quality has gone down considerably. This week, it is the second time that I have found the room not being cleaned. When I asked why, I was told that the hotel had decided to use the money for room cleaning to instead give food to hungry children. I cannot see why my hotel stay should be linked to the hotel owners' charitable efforts, and I question if it is even legal not to deliver standard hotel service without an agreement with the customer. So, I had no coffee this morning!

My company has used the hotel extensively, and the impression that the current management is doing a poor job, being unfocused on customer needs, and slow in correcting flaws, is shared by several colleagues. It would be interesting to understand if this is something that is common to all Premier Inn hotels, reflecting a policy change, or if Munich Schwabing is just under poor local management.

From my perspective, this is a trivial issue, since there are plenty of other hotels in the area that we will use in the future, but I doubt that the owners of the Premier Inn chain of hotels appreciate seeing how a  previously well-run hotel is transformed into an object of mockery.

My recommendation is to avoid Premier Inn Schwabing

Mismanaged hotel

The hotel is very recommended, breakfast is rich and delicious. The room is very clean and the bed is really comfortable. The place on is also clean and directly under us is Aldi. Directly opposite the hotel is the train (tram tram) and runs directly to Munich Freedom. From there you can continue with subways, super good connections to wherever you want to go. We come back.... ✌️😎

Perfect hotel for short days, quiet and clean environment

As a family we booked a family room and a double room in the Premier Inn. The location for the price is really great: the underground garage has enough seats (2 levels) - if you're lucky you can also find something in the side streets. The train station is at the door (drive to the Munich Freedom metro station is about 8 min). Aldi is in the same building and a good baker in the side building. The service was nice and good, rooms clean. The rest is hotel standard. If possible, we should choose a room at the back, as the street in front of the buildings is well used in the morning.

Nice hotel with very good connections at a fair price

Perfect. as usual, the pink LED lamp as a headlight behind the bed, everything new in a new neighborhood is nice quiet, even a small balcony, the Bim 23 goes very often to the Munich Freedom, 12€ for the underground garage: fits. Now I have to come up to 200 characters,

We were here for one night and it was all good the room was modern and big enough, great bed, very nice bathroom I especially liked the huge window and the nice chair breakfast left no wishes open the bar had been open for a surprisingly long time and also asked for everything we wanted

The price-performance ratio is excellent.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Rooms for wheelchairs very good. Bathroom accessible and correspondingly large. Very positively surprised. Price/performance ratio very good.

Very good hotel for wheelchairs too

The hotel is clean and comfortable.  The room service and the service in the hotel bar was non existent. 5 days without a room clean or fresh towels. The breakfast dinning room is tiny and overcrowded. If you want a drink in the hotel bar on an evening  then forget it. There's one staff member on who also has to man reception. I wouldn't go back. 

Don't Bother. 

Super cheap (in a week). Great quality rooms. Breakfast is also good. Right next to the hotel is the tram (20 minutes to Munich center) and the staff are very friendly and hospitable. It was my second time here at the hotel and I was not disappointed again👍👍 Parking is totally fine for 12 euros per night

Cheap and very nice

We are a group of 3-4 couples and travel once or twice a year on a multi-day city trip, always a Christmas market and this time in the summer to Munich to spend a few days in the German Museum. We therefore decided to be able to assess hotels. I already knew Premier Inn Hotels and had booked this for our group. I regret this very much. The hotel itself is structured like all the others in this chain, is located directly at a bus and tram stop, and has a staff supermarket with a staff supermarket (especially the parking lot can be reached directly).

Zero points, no stars

The hotel was immaculate the staff so friendly nothing was to much trouble the room was clean and very comfortable the food was outstanding .
The location was perfect for the bus trams etc and bonus was Aldi to the rear of the hotel .
5 star well done to the team
