The best location in the town.
Staff super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are extremely clean and nice, very cozy atmosphere.
You can arrange wedding - fist night, anniversary celebrations with surprising room decorations, breakfast in bed.
Restaurant offers a lot of different foods.
Breakfast has all you need.

Anniversary night

When we were planning a trip in February, we ran into a limited number of places in the city hotels and the choice was not great. This hotel had seats and we ordered standard. When we arrived at the hotel in July, we got the keys and went to the room. When we opened the door, we thought that there was a mistake, because there are no tables for 8 people in the standards :). We went back to the reception desk and explained that there was a mistake with our booking and the hotel provided us with a replacement. The replacement was great! The room is huge consisting of a living room with balcony and bedroom. The bathroom is spacious, there is more.... Tomorrow we will have a variety of tasty and tasty dishes at the hotel's restaurant.... There is a great restaurant in the park.... There is a great restaurant in the hotel, and there is a great restaurant in the lobby.

The location os great, right Next to the main street and the accomodation is also very decent.
The staff is vertical friendly and always Willing to help on any situation.

Great location

We have enjoyed our stay in room 310 of this renovated hotel. Breakfast is lovely in their restaurant, with a full selection of foods every morning.  The desk staff are very helpful and friendly, and the parking is easy in front or in the rear.  

We would happily stay here again.

Lovely hotel in very good location for eating and shopping 

Our tour stopped at this hotel for lunch.  We were offered a choice of chicken or "pancakes".  Both dishes were tasty and service was very good.  The hotel is centrally located and near one of Lithuania's attraction, Hill of the Crosses.

Excellent food

We needed a parking lot, we found it in the yard, but there might not be places on it, although when booking it says no order is required. In the room there was a shower. Breakfast nothing but one nuance: everything ends quickly (including clean dishes!), and this is not monitored by the staff. At least 5-6 people ate from the dishes for bread until they brought a new batch of clean dishes.

Four is cool.

Saulys sells itself as a business hotel. It has the right style (though a little dated) and in a good location but otherwise our experience is that the hotel is not thought through.

This starts with breakfast - there is little light on the food warmers and no labels so you have to guess what some of the items are.

Room 303 was small and equipped with seriously over-dimensioned furniture. The wardrobe could have taken clothes from a family for a week but the only space for luggage was the size of cabin baggage. The windows were dirty, no paper bin and one drinking glass (note: double room). The desk was huge, against the back wall with no lamp. On request a lamp was brought but it was wonky and close to useless. The only seating was a single backless cushioned seat under the desk (no space anywhere else). There was no horizontal surface in the bathroom resulting in the spare loo roll being pushed between the bars of the towel rail and my husband having to put his washbag on the floor (I have the hanging type).
This is not what I expect of an 80-Euro/night 4-star business hotel.

I suppose few would complain about it because neither but businessmen nor the soldiers (a bus-load while we were there) don't have to pay for it themselves.

Over-starred

The hotel is located right in the center of Siauliai, about 200 meters from the central square and a step from the pedestrian zone. It has a modern look, a very bright hall, covered by a glass structure, large, clean rooms and very well furnished with tones of dark wood. The atmosphere is rarefied and quiet, in tune with that of the town of Siauliai, at the reception (after having walked a short gradinata) greeted with cordiality and a stretching smile, as well as in an excellent English.

A pleasant surprise this hotel in the centre of Siauliai

I've been to Siauliai three times and this time I stayed at the Saulys for a couple of nights. Certainly much better than the other two times. Essential rooms, but equipped with everything necessary, very good bed, TV, and a wifi that I haven't had anywhere else so fast. Good breakfast, varied, not rich. Professional staff, central location. Certainly preferred over other accommodations.

Preferable to other hotels in the same city

It's a deplorable house, a very dirty hotel (dust everywhere), a room that is so called superior, very noisy. It's absolutely not worthy of a standard 4 star (expensive bathroom, plastic toilet, damaged bathtub enamel)!
