1821 is considered the year the hotel was built. The full name is Grosses Logir und Neues Kurhaus, at that time the hotel was located at Königsbergerstrasse, 38, now Kurortny Prospekt, 16. Literally “kurhaus” is translated as “resort house”. This status in the resorts of Germany and East Prussia was awarded to the main hotel, which was the center of resort life. In 2022, the building was completely renovated, the hotel was assigned a 3-star category.
On the first floor of the hotel there is a restaurant BALT. Bake. Cheese factory. Lavka and craft bakery Bread. Restaurant BALT is a modern continental and regional gastronomy.

My husband and I came here for two days, gave us a room on the 4th floor with a stunning view of the central street. The hotel is super! I don't understand why 3 stars. You just have to go to the ballet restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, it's very tasty!!! The tables are desirable to book in advance. Also at the bottom of the restaurant there is a coffee shop with bread, there is very tasty breakfast from 8am. Nearby there is everything

The downside is that we asked for a room with a balcony, and we got a confirmation that we had booked one, but when we moved in, the room was without a balcony, and we were not informed of the changes and were not notified in advance, and unfortunately, the administration was unable to resolve the issue.
