A simple but good and clean hotel. The breakfast is great - Milan prepares a breakfast for every guest according to their wishes. The rooms are simple but always clean. Enough for half a night and the breakfast replaces the lack of modernity

Good hotel.

The hotel is located in an old house, very authentic design: the painting of the floors and the door of the cabinets fits perfectly into the picture. The staff seems to be made up of one person. He set us up and he cooks breakfast, offering us a choice of a few quick meals. In the evening the same guy advised a few bars, handed a tourist route card (used) and left, leaving a magnetic key to the hotel's front door. The hotel is clean, quite quiet and comfortable. The bathroom is good, refurbished. The heating worked, the heat. There is an electric towel sensor.

A Quiet and Pleasant Place

Arrived late afternoon (well within check-in times that were allowed) to find no-one was here and the door was locked. We rang the number on the door and got no answer. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, by chance, someone came out of the pub next door for a cigarette and said he would try and contact the owner. During this time we contacted Booking.com who apologised and said they would ring back in 20 minutes. This time was almost up when the owner arrived. He was very flustered and apologetic, checked us in and showed us to our rooms. As we put our cases down in the room booking.com rang back and said they couldn't contact the owner and offered us alternative accommodation so it came very close to us going elsewhere.

The room itself was clean and pleasant enough. We couldn't find an information booklet and so couldn't find the wifi password. We rang reception (10 mins after checking in) and got no answer. I then went downstairs to find the owner had gone again. It wasn't until we came back from dinner that I found the wifi password on a slip of paper in the second bedroom which was off the main room.

Breakfast was good and was served by the same guy from the night before. We didn't see another member of staff during our stay and suspect that he is largely running it by himself.

Parking is secure.
