Very nice hotel in an old house right in the heart of the old Pardubice. You can park in front of the hotel. 2 minutes walk from the central square and close to the castle. Charming hotel. Very good reception, very warm, parking space in front of the hotel. Very quiet. Very large very nice room on the street, comfortable, very good sheets. Excellent breakfast buffet can be taken in a very nice indoor courtyard/garden, at the back of the house. Excellent cumin, charcuterie, cakes, two, bread dishes. A variety of nutty natte/viennese and delicious cinnamon. No elevator to go up to the luggage that didn't bother us.

A few days in the Pardubice area

Old building, nice location, close to the city centre (Pernstein Sq.), almost in the peripheric wall of the Old Castle. Our room was quite spacious and well-maintained, but it lacked air-conditioning, a fact that counts in the summer hot days. A second defect was lack of elevator -as it also happens with other buildings in the area.
We stayed three nights there. Breakfast was satisfactory, but we were dissatisfied with the owner, an old gentleman who did not allow us to go out in the small terrace (there were just a few tables there), presumably to avoid extra fuss for his personel.

Old building, nice location

In the historic part of the Czech town of Pardubice is the hotel U Zlateho Andela. The hotel is housed in an old house. Despite this, everything is conveniently and functionally arranged. The room is even unexpectedly large. Parking at the hotel is required when booking.

Hotel in an old house

In the heart of the city, in the fortress, there is this hotel. It is very quiet and clean. The room is normal, there is no elevator. Not far from the hotel there are a lot of shops in the center of Pardubice and many cafes and restaurants. Breakfast is European in style, but quite suitable for traveling. Payment during eviction. If I stayed at another such hotel, I would stay.

Quiet and modest hotel in the center

It was an unforgettable night at the Historic Hotel Pardubice. The atmosphere was like something from the past. But all the plumbing and the room with the latest plumbing and many attributes. Nice staff.

Made very welcome on arrival.

Spacious, clean room with large washing, shower area.

Hotel is located in excellent part of the Old town with no passing traffic sounds !

We will definately return again - probably in the summer !

Warm and friendly

The hotel does not have that many stars (3 to be precise), but staff is helpful and the location is just wonderful! Once you have left the hotel for a strol you may find yourself brought back a few hiundred years. If you hear  a strange sound - don't worry, it just some of the dozens off peacocks making themselves heard. The new town is also close, so it's easy to find a place to have a decent dinner. 
Rooms are simple , but have most of  the amenities you might need. Breakfast is not a top cusine experience, but is value for money. There are no lifts and no A/C.
One serious draw back is parking. There are a scant few parking lots close to the hotell, but late arrival may bring you into a problematic situation.
And yes, I'd stay there again!

The location is half the value

Hotel, which was probably still very beautiful 10-15 years ago. No parking, at the end of a dead end, 200 meters away from the town hall square, where you can stand free from 10:00 to 7:00, otherwise parking tickets. Carpet flooring urgently in need of renovation. Föhn is at the reception. Breakfast standard. Hotel probably had its flowering some time ago.

This hotel is just perfect,not for all people....Hotel is situated just 2 mins by walk from the main square with pubs around....also castle is just only 5 mins walking....and i dont talk about the ice hockey arena which is just 10-15 mins.Everything what you need is nearby.Hotel does not have a lift,there are just stairs,its old building in old part of Pardubice,so thts why.But it has amazing atmosphere.Hotel is non smoking,and the parking is just infront of the hotel,and they will give you a card so you can park there for free. Wifi is working properly.And next to the hotel is nice restaurant U Čápa, with friendly staff and also with good food for nice price,we loved tht.
The staff, its family hotel so they are friendly and really helpfull.
Breakfast was pretty good,especially some homemade things,yummy. Hope that they will continue like tht. I want to thank by this for all hospitality and nice stay in the hotel.
