Quite good location of the hotel, close to the center with good access by public transport. You can see that staff have a passion for this place - I suspect it's a family business. The room was clean, breakfast varied for the size of the facility (thanks for a decent coffee machine!).  On the plus side, there was an easy telephone contact with the staff during self-check-in.
BUT
The hotel undoubtedly needs a proper refreshment. A bathroom from the 1980s or 1990s and the electrical installation placed on top of the wall do not work well for the comfort of your stay. The negative was also the size and location of the room - a small cubicle in the attic without adequate ventilation. It didn't bother me, but the lack of daily room service is worth noting.  The tourist tax not included in the Booking.com system, payable on the spot in cash and rounded up, is not fair.

It is difficult to write an unambiguous opinion about this object.

Amazing reception, nice staff, comfortable rooms, everything very clean and tasty breakfast. Nice location, quiet, with a good price too 👌🏼 highly recommend for the ones who are visiting Plzen for a few days.

Simple but excellent 

Unfortunately we had to share the hotel with some polish football fans. The rooms were old-fashioned. The concierge was friendly and the breakfast okay. It is okay to just sleep there. It is about a 10-15 minutes walk to downtown.

Cheap but okay

A comfortable and clean hostel, without great luxuries but correct, and above all very economical.A good option for staying in Plzen if you don't ask too much, for a group of friends with a backpack is ideal.

Commodity is a commodity.

Mercifully stayed only 1 night, with my two young children. We'd booked into the Morrisson, which looks nicer, but on arrival found it's owned by the same people as the Bayer, and they'd put us in there instead. In the opposite rooms were a large group of drunken men, who from 11:00-2:00am treated the place like a nightclub, including with a loud sound system they'd brought in. I couldn't contact the reception or owners (answer machine) to help with this situ. Emailed them out of desperation, and still no reply 2 days later. Very little sleep, and my daughter was quite scared. In the morning, cigarette butts and beers bottles all over the landing/floor. 

The hotel itself is pretty grubby and very, very dated (many budget Cz hotels are, to be fair), and this was kind of expected. But there's no way we will ever stay there again.

Drunks, loud music, shouting

So far, the most negative memories have remained of staying at this hotel. A crowd of drunk German guests have ruined not only the sleep, but also the whole impression of living. Very poor lighting in the room, but the light from the sign shines brightly from the street at night. The smell of tobacco smoke penetrates the room from the neighbors. The clay-lined curtain in the shower does not save from the spraying of the floor in the toilet. Screaming beds and old sheets. Slow unstable internet. Added a positive plus to a delicious breakfast.

Never again.

For a budget penzion/hotel you can't go wrong with Morrison. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and well maintained. 

The staff were very friendly, English speaking at front desk. 

Breakfast was fine, noting special but for about €30 for the night, it was good. 

This is not a place for romantic weekends away or honeymoons but a good decent room for a night or two away with friend that won't break the bank, then you could do a lot worse than here. 

Cheap and very cheerful

We stayed here for one night on our way to Usti nad Labem. The room was under the roof and it was super warm in July. No mosquitonet on the windows. The hotel was noisy almost the whole night. Everything was oldfashioned&run down. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Take a look at the room before you pay/book - you better

It is a simple hotel with small rooms and bathrooms but with a good location. The staff is well attended and the cleanliness is reasonable. The daily price is fair. A good cost benefit for those who want to spend just one night.

The hotel is a ten minute walk from the city centre. It is a quiet street. The reception does not operate around the clock, but nearby is the Bower Hotel, where you can solve all questions. They also gave the hotel manager's phone number to solve any questions that arise. The woman at the reception spoke only Czech and German, but this did not cause any difficulties in understanding each other. We were given a three-seater room in the mansion instead of a two-seater room. In the room, the furniture was clean, the refrigerator, but it did not work. Every day the room is cleaned and the towels are changed. There was also a satellite TV.
