We lived in the villa Elizabeth. The best option of all offered here. The villa is all thought up to the smallest details and has everything for a comfortable life. It is worth noting that the panoramic sunrise windows were pleased every morning with a beautiful new picture. The pleasant host, speaking only English (well and Finnish of course), can be paid by card. The bed accessories are paid for extra or their own. The final cleaning is done either by yourself or by yourself.

It's a great place to relax.

We want to say a big thank you for such beauty, such coziness, such fancy taste and comfort. In this house there was everything and even more. Men - boat, hoses, bur, mangal, gas grill. Women - everything to cook food, especially for those who love to cook!. For children there was a bed, a tree, sandwiches, skis, even a pot))). A spacious living room, connecting all the rooms. Panoramic windows.. Crazy view of the lake!. The best New Year in our lives.. The men dug a hole and after the sauna we all dived into the lake. Fantastic.. The owner of this land prepared his wife's dinner with his wife.

A dream house by the lake!

We decided to stay in the house because of the very sparing price (especially the comfort level). True, it was with a booking discount, but the price per night was a little over 53 euros (and no extra cleaning costs). Everything was very nice. And the staff attitude was very friendly. And the house itself where we stayed. And the comfort level. I didn't even expect that there were one heater that was placed with an HDMI approach to heat up even a large room. And the kitchen equipment was quite decent.

A great place to relax at an amazingly low price

I will immediately point out - all the advantages and disadvantages are mainly related to the small budget house we booked, in the hotel complex there are also cozy, but much more expensive accommodations, apart from such shalasha there are also elite cottages and parking lots for car-houses and caravans and tents. Average is good, but the price of this house is a little too high.

We were here with the family for two nights. And it was charming. The house on the lake with its own rowing boat, gas grill and fishing pier is perfect with three bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen to expand and explore the surroundings. The house even has its own sauna. I find for 4 people including bedding for 380 euros the price ratio is top!

Great place to relax

We rented a small rustic cottage for 2 nights. Very quiet, without screws. This small cottage is very rustic but you can find what you need to spend nice days there. The wood-fired sauna is really nice. Then we can go cool down in the lake! Free bike loan (not in very good condition) and boat available to row on the lake. We really enjoyed it. The owners are friendly. If you want a less rustic accommodation, rent a larger cottage (they are better equipped).

Lost in the Wild

It's a great place on the lake! Free boat, bicycles, grill! Responsive owner. Accepted with a dog without problems and extra fees. Every morning they ran around the lake. Near Ristian there's everything you need - a store, etc.

A quiet place in the midst of nature

When I imagined my trip to the lake region in Finland, I imagined sleeping in a lakefront house from Helsinki, the so-called Lakefront Region with a rowboat ready to leave the shore, a wooden pier to dive in after the sauna and all around a wonderful nature. You can imagine my happiness when we arrived (a little struggling because the address we were given was not accurate) at this place located between Riistina and Mikkeli, right at the beginning, we were coming from Helsinki, the so-called Lakefront region. The reception is in the master house, a beautiful old building that is used both for renting some rooms and for events, having on the floor a large all-wood bar available on the dining room floor but can also be used for dancing.

The Finland We Were Looking For

This place was so cute and romantic!
If you are somewhere close you should check this out. The owners are lovely and caring people. I don´t know if they speak english but you can find this place atleast from booking.com which i used. i was the only customer because the summer season wasn´t really started yet. it was pretty cold weather and it was raining. The owner offered to warm up the sauna by the lake just for us. You can either spend the night in the Villa/main house which was built in 1860s or in the cottages or in a old barn. everything looks lovely and is nicely decorated. This place is also lovely for summer weddings and apparently people do that alot in here. This place is only about 15km away from Mikkeli

Romantic and unique place in a sleeping village

Owner is friendly and location close to town Mikkeli is good. 
This place is good for those who only need a place to overnight.  

Stairs to 2nd floor are uneasy to climb even for us sporty people. 
Rooms are furnished with heterogeneous piece of furniture and beds are narrow. Wall are very thin and you will hear neighbors walking or coughing. 
There is only one bathroom for all 3 rooms on the 2nd floor. 

The place is shabby and somehow neglected.
