We spent a week with friends for a paragliding training and it was just perfect. The hostel is 5 minutes from the paragliding school and there are plenty of nice walks to do around the corner.

It's a great stay.

Eight friends hiking the Arles Road took the hostel as the centerpiece of their stages for four days. Hosted by a warm homeowner, we lived in a pleasant setting, with beautiful scenery. The rooms at our disposal are well equipped, with individual bathrooms except one. Everything is perfect for taking a step like this. The site also offers the possibility of horseback riding.

Relaxation in a beautiful setting

The place of the hostel is at the top. In the center of the Aspe Valley. The corner is quiet and familiar. We are in a square with a private entrance to the hostel. The main room is warm with plenty of space and a large kitchen. The living room chimney is huge. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. A little damage to a room or the sdb is smaller. Everything is very clean. The reception and the guests are super friendly and full of good advice. The only thing is: the WiFi is a little unstable, but we are not here for that! Super stay

An Atypical Quiet Stay

Average accommodation with very small bathroom. No welcome or advice. Baget and croissant deposited in the evening for breakfast the next day. Baget super soft obviously. Non-consumable confections, 2 small bottles of fruit juice for 3 days! In short, much too high price for quality!

Disappointing

Stayed one night in late May on my way back from riding motorcycles in Picos de Europa. I just wanted a simple, little place to lay my head for the evening, before heading to the Route des Cols des Pyrénées. I got in a bit late and was a bit hungry, so I walked down to Accous, but nothing was open. The owner had already informed the that they didn't serve food, so it was no surprise when I arrived. It was a lovely 2km walk to Accous, but the walk back in the dark was challenging. In any event, I didn't get anything to eat that night, but honestly, I didn't care.
The owner, a nice lady, spoke perfect English and was very kind. My room was very comfortable and I loved the homey feeling. I had a great nights sleep and woke up to a simple but sufficient breakfast. My friend that was riding with me had an issue with his bikes battery, so the owners husband loaned is a battery charger and extension cord. 30 minutes later we were on our way to Jaca to get a new battery installed. The road (N-134) is a beautiful drive/ride so we didn't mind doing it a couple of times. If you're expecting luxury accommodations, look elsewhere, but I loved my stay and would stay there again if I was in the area.

A Comfortable and Quaint Auberge

I spent one night at the Auberge Cavalière as part of a cyclo-crossing of the Pyrenees (group of 9 people). Perfect home for a true patroness, joyous and helpful, who is happy to share with her guests. The evening meal was very good (special mention of rice with milk to fall!), as well as breakfast. The place is quiet, the rooms are simple and very clean, the hostel is rustic and has a seal. Very good address to recommend.

Everything is made at home in the most beautiful French tradition. This couple lives for this house and gives the best value for money in the valley

There are hundreds of flies everywhere: in the room, in the breakfast room, the photos must have been taken quite a few years ago, now it doesn't seem so, especially the dining room, the rooms quite damaged The exterior very careless.

Stayed here in April whilst working on a film shoot. Weather ranged from snowing one day to mid 20's (c) the next. Stayed in a large family room, fairly basic but clean with extremely comfortable beds and on those cold spring nights, very warm.
Our host was very helpful and approachable and keen to make our stay as agreeable as possible and passed on lots of local tips and places to visit. We dined in on a couple of occasions - highly recommended! Delicious home cooked food and decent wine.
The location is stunning and this property makes a great base for exploring the Aspe valley. One Sunday we drove for an hour up the mountain, through the Tunel de Somport into Spain for a splendid tapas lunch in the town of Jaca as there were very few food outlets open in France on a Sunday .  Worth a visit to beautiful Lescun with amazing mountain views where the story 'Waiting for Anya' by Michael Morpurgo was set. Accous is an unspoilt village with a friendly cafe/bar, an Intermarche supermarket, excellent outdoor laundry facilities (yes!) and a great takeaway pizza parlour.

Very welcoming auberge in amazing location

It's a shame we didn't know before we arrived that the bathroom and the bathroom were outside the room... the bathroom is a little old, but it's a matter of taste. The lace to hide the window of the bathroom door is not ideal. It's a little expensive for the service.
