Having stayed at an Ibis Budget for the first time the previous night in Reims, we booked this one as stop off on our journey. It couldn't have been more different from our first experience!
The receptionist was sullen and unfriendly ( might have been even worse if you couldn't speak French!),  the room was in dire need of refurbishment and didn't even have proper sheets on the bed! When I asked about sheets, she had they had none but a maintenance guy overheard and went to get me some! The room was very cool on arrival and appeared to have aircondioning but later it was unbearable. There are no staff after 10pm so I asked next door at the Ibis Styles. I  was informed that there was no air conditioning and told to open a window! Her manner equalled the negative one of our earlier receptionist! 
Breakfast was basic and the whole area needs refurbishment. I definitely would not recommend this hotel and would be reluctant to use Ibis Budget again. Either the Reims one of the previous night needs an upgrade, or this one needs a downgrade!

Terrible!

This is a pity hotel for this hotel chain. It's a neat, old and not very clean room. The laundry doesn't smell good. The pillow smells of sweat. It's bound to be surrounded by a simple sheet. Without alesis... It's up to us to make the bed overlapping! And why not the housekeeping while we're there?!

It's pathetic, even for one night.

Dirty room, dirty toilet, hair on the sheets, broken shutter, lunch for a night's sleep, after the staff is very friendly and attentive, I wouldn't go back to this establishment.

Displeased

We stayed in this hotel for one night, a couple and 2 children. Room reserved in advance on the internet. The bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet. The staff is nice. Clim ok. Breakfast is right. The fridge is not very visible though) The room is very small for 4 and did not match the photos shown when booking. There were only 3 towels and 2 cups for 4... no closets, just 4 unusable cinemas since behind a bed. Only a convenient tablet taken from the bed for parents. 2: on the opposite side. Nothing in the bathroom is used after a shower/i pair, no mantle. B found itself after a wet door. No door to try to dry them.

Very good welcome from Ivona, very kind and above all very helpful and found a solution for everything, what an efficiency!! cheap hotel night, good quality price ratio! Nice restaurants right next door!!

Welcome to the top!

Ibis Budget used, we were very disappointed by this one. When we arrived, the hotel door was open, the reception was closed (they are at the ibis Style right next door) so anyone can enter the hotel. Anyway, I have the room number and the code. We go there and there, surprised by opening the door: someone is already there, in their room in their pants! OUPS! We ring at the reception and a lady comes and puts on her cheque... We tell her that they break the hotel door open if they want!

We're not coming back:

For the second day of my stay, I didn't get a new room code, so I had to continue using the old one. In the afternoon, I didn't get to the hotel. The machine at the entrance didn't want to do so much. The software crashed. From the second day onwards, there was no WIFI. The reception of the neighboring hotel on the same property helped me. There, they knew my room code. At breakfast, the baguette was of the hard variety, the other guests were probably used to it. The price had been raised to 7.50. Otherwise, it was very full, but still quiet. The staff was well overcrowded. In the neighborhood, an old one.

Technical problems

I'm disappointed in disappointment. We're used to Ibis budgets, we thought we knew what to expect... but no. When we arrived at 10:15 pm, the landlady made us pay for our room, though already prepaid on Lastminute.com. (At that point, I still don't know if it was Lastminute's fault, Accor's or the hotel's.) On the other hand, seeing this, I press on the sound barrel planned for this kind of case.
