The hotel is very well located in the centre of the village and close to restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the isolation is not great; you can hear the neighbors talking as if they were with us.

A pleasant stay

We were on a long distance footpath through the Pyrenees so, as there were no alternatives, were glad to grab a room at the Hotel des Cimes for a night's R&R.

A friendly welcome

Exceptional location with a view of the circus from the bedroom window. But first breakfast with dried bread... Evening meals worthy of a college cafeteria: fresh reminiscent carrots (like the first night salad, very very fresh) and a pasta dish accompanied by meat sauce with re-cooked potatoes!!! Surprising meal baskets: bread sandwiches and butter, and nothing else....! And a loaf of bread to accompany the cheese...

Disappointing

Nice staff. Good breakfast. Good bedding. No hot water, stained shower, 1 bath towel for 2 nights, no fresh shower gel pocket.

Stay in September 2019

The hostess is super helpful and kind.  The room was large and clean.  There was a charming balcony looking over a cute little square.  It was very quiet at night.  We loved this cute hotel and stayed a few extra days.  The town has nice walking paths and a Therme pool up a ways (maybe 1-2 k out of town but walkable).  The only problem is the Therme is closed much of the midday, making it difficult to go when its open.  There is a cool castle to visit!   There are some good restaurants that are open all day!  No waiting till 7:30 pm to eat!

Most romantic in 7 week journey

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The reception is very warm and the team is always ready to provide us with useful information for visiting the area. The kitchen is homemade and copious. Perfect for cyclists who want to get around!

Very good hotel with a great reception

Since the change of ownership, I've had less contact but still a pleasant one. The hotel is very close to the slopes and the cabin which rises to 2700 meters after a 400 meter walk. We obviously reach a summit that allows us to ski all day without doing the same tracks.

It's nice to be able to get some leads.

The hotel is accessible only at certain times from 8am to 10am in the morning and from 5pm onwards), which is not convenient for hikers or skiers. The rest of the time is outside or from your room without access to the common areas. For picnic baskets, not before 9am... No double room keys either. No additional meal service is offered (in addition to what is included).

Non-professional hotel management with very limited restrictions.

At the rate (90€ with 2 breakfasts), but ask for a room next to the Gavarnie circus you will have a balcony and the view is breathtaking.
