Me and my lesbian wife were harassed and the staff member attempted twice to enter our room uninvited.

This man who works there at first pleasant. Checked us in, told us he stays just at the door behind reception if we had any issues. The doors are locked and 10pm and we'd need a code to get in after. We got the code, we enter in at 10:30, he opens his door to say goodnight then invites us into his room for a drink. We politely refuse and go upstairs. There are NO lights left on in the evening so you fumble to find your door number and find yourself using your phone to use the torch to get back in.

This guy who works and obviously loves there is the only worker we met even in the morning upon exit...

So we're settling in for bed and we get a knock. It is dark, but he tries to step into my room and I very clearly see his face and he invites himself in for a drink. My foot was behind the door and I say no, we don't want a drinm and push the door. I lock the door after being made to feel extremely uneasy. Me and my wife are now on edge. The bed sheets smelt dirty and used, we slept on top of the bed sheets with our coats on and discussed whether to leave the hotel and find somewhere else to stay. But then we'd have to pass him in the reception....

Whilst discussing and fully dressing ourselves for bed, I hear another knock, then a key beeping to allow itself into our room and the door handle go!!!!!! This person who works there needs to be fired or this hotel needs to be reported immediately. I ran to the door, I open it and tell him again, leave us, we DO NOT want to drink with him as he again attempts to step into our room. I'm terrified and slam it shut quickly and again lock the door.

This was an experience I've never had before that as two females we can't go stay in a hotel for one evening without the hotel worker giving himself access to our room. I've tried to report this to booking com with two reports and zero response. It doesn't allow me to write a review on his hotel. Therefore, please see this. This is the most traumatic hotel experience me and my wife have ever had.

We left early the next morning after having had no sleep but felt it safe to leave in the day light hearing others in the hotel. He was downstairs vacuuming the entrance. He did not acknowledge us the next morning. I will never stay here again and I'd strongly suggest nobody does.

I don't understand why we leave photos that don't fit the place today!! some photos dated between 2007/2011... with quality-conscious managers! who are no longer here because of a channel scam and owner :-(

Smell of cigarettes in the bedrooms. Other than that, it's still okay. It could be some humidity problems on the floor. Lunch is fine.

One night it can go, two will go

I wondered if it would be better if I slept in my van. Dirty carpet when the vacuum passes. I hope I don't catch anything tonight. I think I'll have fun tomorrow morning..........

What to Avoid

I have never seen such a dirty hotel, the stained sheets that were changed after our complaint) dirty carpet, infectious smell.

I found the staff difficult to communicate with and not that helpful. The rooms though basic are clean. The mattress however is thin foam than allows the wood holding it to stick in and the chair needs replacing. 
The positives are with a bit of initiative I found a brilliant shopping centre walking distance away and it located well for all that I wish to do here. A carhire is essential though.

I strongly recommend it to everyone and strongly welcome the person and pleasant but feels more like a hotel that needs to review either prices or comfort

A budget hotel in a new retail area to the east of Amiens. But download the map! It is fairly basic with comfortable beds but no restrauant facilities, Breakfast is available at an extra 5.80 Eu but it is a buffet style with no limit. The staff are very friendly and helpful but speaking French is an advantage. Security in and around is good with keypad entry to the gate to the car park and the hotel. There are good  restaurants within easy distance. It is a good base if you are visiting the Somme area and only about 15km from Albert etc.

Budget but good

This was our first visit to a Quick Palace hotel and it'll be our last.  We've stayed in many budget hotels and have had far better rooms (and overall surroundings) than what was on offer here - and at considerably lower prices.  Some of the newer, or recently-refurbished, budget hotels knock the socks of the QP at Glisy.

The foyer looked drab and tired, the reception area/breakfast room was in dire need of modernisation, the room was spartan, the shower/toilet cubicle was one of the worst-designed I have ever come across with no shower screen or curtain resulting in everything in there getting splashed when you use the shower. We had to get the manager in to get the soap dispenser to work.  The toilet seat seemed to be in danger of coming loose at any moment.... but the bed was clean and comfortable.

Basic, on a good day

Just returned from a one night stay at the hotel. The hotel is conveniently situated just a short 10 minute drive into the town centre .On arrival Very easy automated check-in.
The room although small  with no outside Windows . It had a double bed ,small bathroom with shower and sink. Television in room and wifi included. We paid the extra €5 per person for the continental breakfast which was very nice. There is a member of staff on duty at certain times of the day and he was extremely helpful and friendly. 
In my opinion this was good value for money for a short stay and I would recommend the hotel if that's what your looking for.
