This is a nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The room was simple and the cleaning was excellent. 

What really impressed us was the food in the restaurant. All courses was splendid but the gambas was best ever.

Nice hotel with Excellent food

We just spent a night at this hotel. Very very disappointed by the behavior of the owners. We had an altercation about breakfast. Know that you will have to check the day before what you are going to have lunch. What we found a little surprising??? In the morning you were served at the table and in reduced quantity... at 8.5€ for breakfast In the list we had hidden the mueslis and white cheese but no white cheese (delivery problem) the owner does not offer us a replacement cheese and we remove the mueslies We find ourselves with 2 pieces of bread and a low hot drink The pleasure of spending a breakfast at the hotel for us is also a good breakfast and a pleasant atmosphere and you will not find anything good there...

Visiting the area as a businessman, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service at both the hotel and restaurant levels.

Very warm accommodation, spacious, pleasant, modern and comfortable beds, quiet close to the city centre, free parking next to the hotel, ample and affordable breakfast.

Fast stay of one night

The room I was in (108) is one level up from the street. Quiet, not much of a view, but clean.  Bathroom is a bit dated.  On the desk, a water heater to make instant coffee/tea with powdered milk, sugar, etc.   ~22 channels of television, one of which has SOME English programming.  Lovely breakfast ("Continental plus"), bread, croissants, juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, fruit assortment, jellies/jams.  There's a cute bar where they serve some beer, cocktails, etc.  After 8:30 pm, there is NO STAFF.  You are provided a piece of paper with the lobby door unlock code and the WiFi password (WiFi was strong and fast, Netflix worked flawlessly). Towels were fluffy white, oversized bath sheet!  The bedding was soft, clean, snowy white linens, ample pillows including a body-length pillow.  The mattress was "futon-style" as it wasn't typically futon rigid, but rather quite forgiving and soft; the comforter was thick and warm, interesting for summer night use, but it made sense.  Days were in the 80s and nights upper 50s (Mid-July).  No insect screen on the window, but flying insect invaders are very very rare.  No furniture to store clothing, just a few shallow shelves.  Very quiet place!  I'd go back w/o any problems.  This one's a winner (except if you demand 5-star luxury, which this is NOT).

Surprisingly pleasant and economical

I knew from 20 years ago, rooms and bar and breakfast room refurbished with a lot of taste, a little more modern, I like a lot. It's a shame they don't make a restaurant anymore.

Very good reception, very clean and pleasant hotel, very comfortable bed the hotel is quiet and well soundproofed easy access, and nearby parking near all amenities such as restaurant, post office, ticket dealer, etc

One night's stay

A very pleasant room with a good bed. Our room had a friendly bathroom and it's clean. The reception is good, good breakfast. The only bemoal is access to the rooms that are not compatible with people with difficult travel.

It's a pleasant surprise.

We spent a few days in Hauteville-Lompnes, with the aim of exploring the surroundings. We stayed several nights in this tastefully renovated hotel. First of all, we were really delighted by the simple and warm welcome of the landlady! The rooms, renovated by the owners, are pleasant and at a more than affordable price! And to top it all off, a more than generous breakfast for a discounted sum! Frankly, we will not miss to stop again in this hotel, to find the smile of the owner and can continue our walks through the surrounding forests, and, perhaps, the foothills, because of the discreetness of this summer that has been shown to be our host...
