We stayed a night at the 2-star Hotel de l’Oise because it is close to the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport from which we were leaving the next day, and because its restaurant is highly recommended on TA.

Our room was a couple of floors up some steep stairs from the restaurant. The decor of the fairly small room was what I'd call "quaint" in pink. We could hear people in the adjacent stairwell, and I heard staff arriving around 6:30 a.m. the next morning.

Having said that, the bed was comfortable (although the pillows were just OK) and we slept well. The shower had perhaps the best water pressure we'd encountered during our two weeks in France. And there were actual bars of soap and bottles of shampoo, instead of the body wash dispenser, etc. that is the current fashion.

Small, clean, and quaint

Following recommendations we went to the restaurant of this establishment. From the reception to the service everything was perfect. A map and menus full of promises and they are kept. A generous kitchen and good flavors. It is safe to book and you understand why. And a good address more.

A Good Recommendation

It's a great place to feel at home! A very friendly reception, rooms with little onions and a high quality kitchen (Divine Potage).

It's a must-have!!!

We stopped here on our overnight stop down south. Arrived at 5:30’in the evening and had a very warm welcome from the host. She gave us our keys (family of four sharing two adjoining rooms) and we climbed up the stairs to drop off our bags and shower etc ahead of going out to eat.

The rooms were small but very clean and tidy. The bathroom was well appointed and everything was very well done.

Was excellent to have the adjoining room as 14year olds really don’t want to spend any additional time with their parents! 

We were very comfortable that night. The beds are so comfy. Room was warm as there is no air con but there was an efficient fan.

Breakfast the following day was absolutely delicious! Cold meat and cheeses, yoghurts bread pudding (which was to die for), bread and pastries, fresh juices and wonderful coffee. We were well placed for our onward journey and will def stay again!

Overnight stop in beautiful setting

Our  room was small, but well equipped with adequate storage space, a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The breakfast provided was good (although they could not provide my husband with gluten free bread), but with cold meat and cheese as well as well as delicious marzipan bread and good bread and croissants. Our hostess was very helpful.

We enjoyed two good evening meals at the auberge.

We had a very happy 2 night stay in this charming auberge next to a river.

We spent a small week in this hotel restaurant. Very friendly reception. Comfortable, quiet, very clean, well equipped, excellent bed room. The restaurant, in a warm setting, has a varied menu, generous and succulent cuisine. The kindness of the bosses and staff, the small attention, made our stay a great time. We highly recommend this establishment.

Exceptional

First and foremost is the fantastic effort made by the couple who run the hotel ; nothing is too much trouble for them.
The hotel itself is in a very pretty location opposite the river.
Both my visits have been under difficult personal problems but just for a short time my problems disappeared during both stays at this superb hotel.
As for the the restaurant - the best meals I have eaten for five years.
And very fairly priced.
I might regret writing this review because I fully intend to return very soon !

My second visit

Very nice setting, welcoming staff, divine cuisine with a lot of choice, and the little glass of champagne offered at the end of the meal closes a delicious dinner, I've had a great time with the family we'll be back to recommend this very good little restaurant!

I had a really good time at this beautiful establishment, a really good meal, the meat was perfectly bloody, everything was perfect, the attention, the snacks, the Norman hole, the champagne cup and the service.

It was a short night, but what a joy it was to discover the room, everything was comfortable, the nice bed, the very modern shower, the lovely staff, I highly recommend.
