In other words, if you want to go to a place where you don't feel comfortable, where you feel watched, like an intruder, where you feel disturbed, where you are stressed with lots of directions to follow and constraints, where the hosts are not listening or they don't wear a mask because I'm not going to my house anyway, where you take care of yourself less when it's best, because the guests are at breakfast but you yourself need to provide a notebook that you're not coming down for breakfast, but you don't have to announce the hotel's business, but if you're not going to the hotel, it's a good place to be.

Not really a guest house.

We stayed at La Bulle over the Easter period. It was in a very convenient location, just off the A16. 
We stayed in the Jacobeam suite which was really spacious for 4 of us. Each room had its own basin as well as a huge bathroom. The rooms were very clean and our towels were changed after 2 days. The breakfast was continental and there was plenty to eat. We loved the French bread and croissants!! The owners were very accomodating and really nice people. We enjoyed our breakfast chats. There is ample parking and its really easy to get around from there. We were blessed with beautiful weather while we were there so that made our stay even better! There is a facility to make tea/coffee or put things in the fridge and even reheat things but its downstairs where you have your breakfast. The owners did recommend a restaurant so dont hesitate to ask! It is in a really beautiful setting and its lovely and quiet. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Lovely relaxing stay

A nice place to stay quietly for one or more nights. Your welcome was perfect! Large room, super bed with nice sheets, nice bathroom, friendly breakfast, and also impeccable cleanliness, nothing to reproach. Thanks Frédéric and Bruno. We will definitely be back!

Excellence and friendliness are the key words!

We had an excellent we from the ascent to the gite the bubble 10 people gite very clean functional bright we were even able to eat out with the barbecue available! the owners are nice and arranging we had a fridge problem solved in the next hour! ideally located we went to the crotoy st valerie on bed watch berck... we went to see the seals with one guide we made a car rolled... we too short we will come back to it c sure! we ate at the restaurant a my country recommended by the owners it was super short a great thank you again and soon amities the normands havrai emoji

that's great

The guest room was nice, comfortable and clean. The homeowners were friendly, until they called us after we arrived... saying: the room must be released earlier than planned, because they are invited by the family the next day... I find this very knightly on their part, I would like to be informed of this before my booking. So the Sunday morning departure is done in haste. They didn't have the decency to wait until the tab at the pti'dej was finished to get rid of it, while we were at the table. This is an obvious behavior of cleverness... I guess, breakfast limited to the strict minimum. I'll be back by this moment... I won't miss it any more.

It's a nice place, but it's a bemoal

We stayed only one night in the Nabukodonosor room... impeccable room... owners concerned about the well-being and respect for the tranquility of holidaymakers... nothing to reproach... advice for a very good quality restaurant too.. we recommend this charming place

A very quiet and pleasant place

We came to spend 2 nights at the bubble we were very well received, very nice spacious room, a large enough bathroom, a very good bed and especially quiet...a very satisfying lunch we will come back 😉

Very good stay!!!

As a family of four, we were looking for a stop-over on our way from Calais to the Dordogne. This Chambre d'hote was ideally situated about an hour from Calais, close to the motorway junction but in a lovely rural location.
The owner was very welcoming and the accommodation beautifully presented and immaculately clean. We had a suite to ourselves - very quiet and peaceful, with two bedrooms and bathroom facilities. We arrived late but the owner helped us find a meal at a lovely restaurant in a local village. We enjoyed the continental breakfast prepared for us the next morning and said a farewell to the owners who had made us feel so at home in their lovely house.
We would definitely visit again if travelling a similar route through France.

Lovely and welcoming stay

We had Spanish friends staying with us in the UK and took them to France for the weekend.  I booked La Bulle after reading comments on TA.  We were very pleased with the clean, comfortable accommodation.  The house in a beautiful garden.

We had an enjoyable continental style breakfast included in the reasonable price.  Hope to return as we often visit this part of France.

Lovely Stay

We stayed overnight at La Bulle - it is very conveniently situated near the autoroute in a small village. It is a lovely setting and very quiet - so much nicer than an impersonal chain hotel. The owners are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Magnum room which is small but plenty of space for a couple for one night. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A filling continental breakfast is included. Highly recommended as a great value B&B.
