Lovely people, spacious caravans and a great cafe, too. 
After one of the friendliest welcomes ever, my son and I put our stuff in the caravan. At 1.9m I'm the short one but there was enough space for both of us. We took a drink from the cafe to the courtyard and then explored the neighbourhood, which had a tiny independent cinema/restaurant, fantastic junk shop and an Ethiopian restaurant. Plenty more but I don't want to spoil the surprises for you.
Everything was perfect.

Feel at home in the centre of Berlin

Overall, very clean, spacious, and quiet in Berlin. Very convenient and good value if you want to be in Kreuzberg/Neukölln. 

I stayed in one of the private hotel rooms, which was nice and well-appointed, but much less charming than the cabins and caravans (which don't have private baths). It was a little tricky for me to figure out the heat, but once I did, the room was toasty. The bed was firm - a bit hard for me, but that's better than too soft. Good coffee (senseo system) in the room. No TV but I couldn't care less.

I found it a little odd that the small shower stall had neither door nor curtain - the area of the bathroom just outside the stall got very wet. But the water pressure was strong and hot water was very hot - the bathroom was excellent other than that one issue of not having a door or curtain on the stall. 

There is a very nice-looking little garden, but the weather was cold and largely rainy while I was there.

The main reason I give it less than five stars is the limited check-in and reception hours. No on-site service beyond 9am-6pm, and late check-in is only possible until 10pm. (Early check-out is fine.) That did require me to choose an earlier and more expensive flight than I would have liked. This is clear on their website but it wasn't on the booking site that I used. (They did mention it immediately when I made the booking. If it had been a big problem for me, I could have canceled with no charge.) The staff I did have contact with were friendly and helpful, and late check-in was very easy with advance notice.

It's a cozy hotel, nice service and a very friendly waiter at the Café James. The area is really quiet - culinary pubs where you can smoke.

Visit to Berlin in October 2023

In the case of a small, convenient retro-dwelling car in a well-heated factory hall with many palms and falcons in the backyard in Hobrechtstrasse near the Szeneviertel around Weserstrasse in Neukölln. Super, clean, newly sarnished, beautiful communal showers, great towels, water, coffee, tea in the retro-dwelling room free of charge. Here were already the German band The Doctors, as a photo proves, warm hosts, very comfortable beds, who, however, considers privacy to be very important, is here, because the light car is of course very wrong.

Exceptional, affordable, very comfortable accommodation in the centre of Neukölln, near the Szeneviertel

A short stay in Berlin with my daughter, we loved it. Very kind, helpful, professional staff. Cleanliness at the top, and a very good breakfast with quality products. Whether it's the buildings, the furniture, the atmosphere, the interior, the little details of the decor, we had a real heartbeat. We'll be back to it.

That's great.

We love the experience. Shared bathrooms but mega clean and spacious. The environment is very nice and different. Staying in the trailer is very nice, you feel like camping in the middle of the city. Gentle staff, gave several tips. The location is right by the subway station, near several cool restaurants and bars. It's mega worth it!

Untied and fun

We spent three days at the Huttenpalast and we had two caravans in February. It's certainly not the best season to visit Berlin, but this place is really nice. Everything is very clean and decorated in the smallest detail. Breakfast at the top (only beemol and hot chocolate not included). And even if it's very cold outside, where the caravans are, it's very warm! It must be even nicer when it's nice and warm because there's a nice terrace around. The neighborhood is nice and it's five minutes from the metro that serves the main tourist attractions of Berlin.

Weird and original hotel

This caravan-hotel-indoor is a delightful and successful experiment of indoor camping, in vintage caravans, turned into works of art for sleeping. impeccable and very clean, with a retro living room for reading, to meet other guests or for breakfast included in the overnight stay. Otherwise, with a supplement, you can make an exquisite breakfast with organic and local products in the nice bar. There is also a very beautiful indoor garden. The staff is exquisite, available and joyful.

It's not the usual hotel.

... just loved it. If you are looking for something different, this is the place to be. Great! Property makes you feel very safe, it is very clean, everyone nice... And if you love camping, this is also the place to stay. Highly recommend it!
