Kulanz is a foreign word to this company. Due to illness, rooms had to be cancelled for the same day. He had given the reason and asked to postpone the two nights by a week for a higher price for the more expensive room.

We visited a friend in Berlin who lives near the hotel. The hotel is well located and is easily accessible by foot. The hotel has no stars, but it is best for sleeping only. Breakfast is capable of expansion.

I'd love to be back, top location

The photographs don't quite match the reality. It's just an old sick apartment, with poorly painted walls, terrible hearing (it's impossible to sleep if someone walks down the hallway). Also, the room key is the key to the front door of the apartment (which means all rooms can be opened with one key). The doors are slippery, the lock is just a weak squeeze like an inter-room door. It smells disgusting in the room, crappy oil, old wood, mold and dust. The room is very cold. It looks like a room in a classic Soviet commuter. Also, they're trying to take away from me a sum almost twice the total value of the real room on the site.

A nightmare place.

One star just because it’s not possible to give 0. The hotel is extremely old, not maintained at all, you can’t sleep there because you hear all what is happening in the corridor (the doors are very thin, a part of the door is just painted glass) and in the other room. The bed linens are worn, the blanket is so small and thin and there is no additional blanket if you felt cold!!! All this in November. I wasn’t able to touch anything, because everything looks so old and so oily. It is so unsafe, because the door could be opened with any key, the key from the entrance door is the same key from your room (hotel has few rooms, so literally, anyone could have an access to your room with his key). The key anyway is of no use, since you can’t lock your room properly with this poor lock and can anytime expect a visitor. It is actually not a hotel at all, just an old apartment, with even not properly painted walls. Somebody says the hotel is clean. I don’t see it at all, sorry. It smells old food, cooking oil, old wood, dust and mold. Maybe for a lower price it would be convenient. But they used my situation, that my booking in another hotel was cancelled and I was offered this “hotel” as a substitution in a last minute, without any possibility to check it due to the poor connection on my smartphone, and sent me a receipt with 110 euro per night! So they want for this 1,5 times more money, than they listed on their website!!! It is not possible at all to contact the management immediately if you’re in a trouble and, contacting them, you just receive very rude answers, twice they just cut my speech and closed the discussion, dropping the phone. Also don’t be fooled with photos, they don’t reflect the reality at all.

Terrible experience, don’t be fooled with good reviews and photos

Unfortunately we didnt get chance to stay at the hotel as i arrived 1.5 hours late due to getting the wrong train to the hotel. My girlfried contacted the hotel to explain but the lady we spoke to was very rude and said she could not help. We were left stranded in Berlin with nowhere to stay. 
I booked the hotel through booking.com and when i asked for a refund as we hadnt stayed at the property they explained that this was not possible because of its policies.

poor customer service

Stayed there for 3 nights.
Room was large and clean with 3 beds including a shower and sink.
Nice breakfast.
The service was very good, many thanks.
Hotel is net the train station which is good 5 mins walk.
Would happily stay again.

Excellent accommodation

It's a nice boarding house and the owner, Nina, is a lovely and kind woman.The place is clean and offers you an acceptable breakfast.The drawbacks I see are that the wifi goes a little slow and the room is a bit cold, besides you only have hot water in the morning and if you come to spend the day and want to shower you can't, that's mostly bad for me, but it's a good place if you're practically going to go to sleep.

Decent 

Me and my husband stayed in the hotel/guesthouse for just one night but really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful, quiet and tastefully equipped rooms in a traditional building with high ceilings, very clean and a nice view to a green backyard. The accommodation has the flair of a guesthouse, combined with the privacy of a hotel.
The breakfast was abundant and tasty.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend the place.

Cosy hotel with friendly stuff & beautiful rooms

Short-term bookings. Small penion with nostalgic flair. Nice staff. Simple nice rooms. Rich breakfast. Although the reception is not always occupied, you get a code in advance for the front door and for the key box for the room keys.

A beautiful family birthday wish

Not a hotel, a simple boarding house on the first floor of a residential building that you can recommend - but that there are some rooms that have toilets in the hallway - you should be able to read the description.
