Don't expect too much, not the most modern of rooms (a lick of paint and updating of the furniture would help) but more than adequate for a very reasonable price. Situated on a very quiet street in the Altstadt literally a stone's throw from the U7 underground station. 

Pleasant enough and good location

 Good location of you need be in the very center of Spandau old town.

the room was located on the 4th floor (and stairace is steep) with no lift and the ceiling was very low. you haven't information about the floor when you book therefore be aware. 
we booked a room for three person and the second bed is the worst thing I ever ever try: it crick, crack and groans with every move and stick into your ribs like and night demon; 
-the staff was friendly but the russian speaking owner may treat you like a criminal ) 

Climbing to the room

A nice little hotel in Spandau, opposite the fortress. 10 minutes on foot to the S-Bahn and 5 minutes to the U-Bahn. A convenient car ride, no need to wander around the city. The area itself is very beautiful. Nearby is an excellent brewery.

Excellent hotel in an old house.

We looked for rooms near the citadel, and the house was ideal for that. The rooms were a little crowded, but the beds were I.O. and the rooms were clean. You must have a little bit of confidence, because the rooms can only be reached by a rather steep staircase, except for a fire extinguisher, which didn't show any fire protection measures and made it look like converted apartments. Handling reservations and bills was okay, breakfast could be taken nearby.

For a short trip, okay.

Fine for what it was. It is extremely dated, and for a hotel only 7 years old pretty tatty now. But spacious enough, and very near to the Christmas market. The shower was pretty horrendous, but apart from that we liked it. I wouldn't recommend for families as I am sure every other guest could hear my children (sorry). But recommended for couples.

It's alright

We stayed here for 5 nights, and where quite pleased with the apprtment we got. While the room was worn down quite a bit, it espacially could do with a paint job, and one or two pieces of furniture should be changed, the overall experience was good.

The two rooms where medium sized, clean and everything was in working order. The is a small tv, with a number of German programs. The wifi was both sable and fast, which you don't see often in German hotels. The bathroom was quite big, and had a bathtub. In the small kitchen (integrated in the livingroom), you had everything you needed. It is posible to park right outside the door, or at a close by parking lot (100 meters). There are several playgrounds the nearest just 50 meters away, and there are also several restaurants within a 10 minutte walk. It takes about 10-15 minuttes to walk to the U-bahn.

Many others have pointet out steep stairs, we had our 2 year old daughter with us, and she climbed the stairs with no problems or effort.

There is no street noise at all, but there is a steady stream of airplanes landing at the nearby airport. 

If you want to spend a couple of days in Spandau, this is a cheap and very central posibility, that I can only recommend.

Good hotel when looking at the price

The other comments are correct.  Very clean and the accommodation is to a good standard.  However, there were no smoke alarms in the room or visible fire exit procedures.  Also, the windows had no child locks.

Good But Needs Some Improvement

On the occasion of a birthday party, we were looking for an affordable hotel with breakfast and car parking for one night. The apartment was very clean, somewhat spacious but perfectly okay. For these purposes, the hotel was perfectly okay for us.

We were looking for a hotel near the Citadel of Spandau

The apartment hotel is located in Spandau, so if you need the center of Berlin, you're not here. But there are lots of parks, rivers, quiet streets and markets. It's a very cozy place, the rooms are well equipped, Russian-speaking staff will help with the problems. There is walking access to the metro and other transport. The only drawback is the nearby Tegel airport and the noise of planes all day long.

A cozy corner in Spandau

It's a nice little hotel on a quiet street near Spandau. The rooms are unusual, very atmospheric. The hotel manager was a friendly Russian-speaking young man who answered all our questions.
