The location, service and facilities were great. The rooms were adequately large and clean. The check-in and check-out worked smoothly. We were very satisfied and will be happy to recommend this hotel😊😊😊

It's a great hotel.

The room is quite spacious, the plumbing is clean, there is no mold in the bathroom. The disadvantages include little light, no free water, a very small pillow (not comfortable sleeping).

Budget (for Berlin prices), pleasant hotel

The hotel was very central, the rooms were clean and the staff were always friendly, the breakfast was also versatile and plentiful, for every taste what, have been to this hotel several times and will definitely come back

It's all good.

It was very cold in the room. The batteries were barely warm above and cold below. The air conditioner was noisy, like a train in the subway - it made you sleep at night. The plumbing was also noisy and lived its life. There was no rosette by the bed, there was no teapot in the room. It was dark even if all the light sources were turned on. There was no way to lock the room from the inside. There was one bottle of drinking water in the room - for 2 euros. The soap smelled good.

Compared to other hotels in Berlin, it's cheap, but it's still expensive.

Ten minute walk to conference centre and transport links. Ideal for our purpose.  Had a good stay in pleasant basic room.  Breakfast offering was adequate in pleasant airy space.  Only negative was the frosty welcome at reception and, despite our smiles and friendly greetings, also frosty check-out (different members of staff too!).  Would stay again for location.

Good location for conference centre and travel.

Stayed for 3 nights in November. Hotel was clean and staff mainly friendly and helpful. Located between two stations on the U2 underground line which provide direct route to the main tourist areas and attractions. The hotel breakfasts were good although an extra €12 per person per meal. The room did not have any tea/coffee making facilities and there was no bar area in the hotel to relax and have a drink.

Reasonable hotel in good location.

Have travelled with work frequently and never had a problem with payment.  It was different here.  They said they wouldn't accept payment from our business travel agency despite emails and calls between them and the hotel.  It is a large agency, so used to dealing with hotels - something about virtual cards and not accepting international cardholder not present payments - and even though they told our agency they would refund my personal card, they maintained it couldn't happen and I had to pay the room rate myself.

Breakfast was poor, with little choice and low quality.  Hot food, was just sausages and two types of egg.  Not enough cutlery was out and the pastries/bread were poor.  Not worth the 9.90 euro by a long way.

Room at the front of the property was noisy as lead on to road.  No tea/coffee in room - even the most basic hotels I've stayed in have this - especially as there are no facilities to get a drink/food in the hotel in the evening - there is a good supermarket within sight.

The room itself was fine - bigger than some budget hotels, but the other problems made this hotel one I couldn't recommend to people, especially those travelling on business.  

Stayed at the other local Ivbergs hotel in 2017 and it was far superior - odd that there was such a big difference.

Too many problems to recommend

Excellent stayed here for 1 week, good hot/cold breakfast, comfortable bed and ho-pressure shower, room cleaned everyday and towels changed daily,friendly staff and reception.A bit of a hike while pulling case from Charlottenburg S bahn took about 20 minutes to walk. there are some fantastic cafe and restaurants nearby but you have to search them out,would stay here again in a heartbeat

Great Hotel so impressed we booked to STAY Again

I went to Berlin for a weekend Friday 24 to Monday 27 August 2018 and I opted for an area of Berlin I had never been to: Charlottenburg. 

I got a good deal through Amoma for Hotel Ivbergs Charlottenburg and I wasn’t disappointed. It is circa 5-10 minutes walk from Charlottenburg S Bahn and the main shopping area which has direct trains from and to Berlin Schoenefeld airport which take circa 40 minutes, also Friedrichstrasse and Hauptbahnhof. 

Charlottenburg S Bahn is also beside Wilmersdorferstrasse U Bahn on the U7 line between Rathaus Spandau and Rudow. 

I was welcomed at circa 2300 by a very pleasant guy at reception who gave me a pile of good information regards takeaways and restaurants locally and indeed the hotel’s own facilities. 

The hotel is clean and modern. There was a TV and en suite facilities which were modern and clean. 

I would certainly return. Recommended!

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.
1 minute walk to bus stop, 10 minute walk to train station (then 5 stops to Berlin HaupBanhoff)
