Hotel located in a quiet residential complex with gardens, away from the street. Easy reach by underground from the "Hauptbahnhof", by S-Bahn from the airport and the tram runs between the 2 stations (800m). 
Spacious, clean & bright room, confortable beds. Carpet a little old but clean. 
Very good breakfast buffet, variety of products, hot beverages prepared by the attentive  staff. 

Great place to stay for 5 nights ! Very professional as of the 1st email contact to the payment.

Fab little pace to stay central to everything … especially the yummy food !! So much yummy food in Berlin for Vegans !! Amazing !! .. lift to take your things up stairs .. not air con and it was HOT .. nice big windows though looking out on a courtyard type community .. really lovely people and greta service .. super place .. would stay again for sure

We've taken this hotel for New Year's Eve, very, very strategic location in a lively, multi-ethnic neighborhood full of restaurants, winding down the streets crossing Frankfurten Avenue to the. Great cleanliness and a nice breakfast. Close to even the most underground part of the East Side. Unique, double bed made up of two single beds and two blankets, so a little uncomfortable.

It's a great solution.

Very clean and tidy room and hotel. Lovely breakfast and staff very friendly and very helpful. Good location to explore Berlin, close to the underground and train station which will connect you to all the main points for visiting. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby.

Lovely little place to stay.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Very nice hotel located within walking distance of all the cafes, restaurants, shops,... but without the hassle of the street because it is located at the end of a small road and therefore quiet. Nice simple and clean room, very comfortable and spacious (beds at the top!). Various and delicious lunch. Accommodation and availability of quality staff. We will return there without any hesitation!!! :-) :-)

It's a very nice hotel.

For 10 years we have stayed at Hotel 26 on our close-to-annual Berlin trip. We absolutely love it and I have always wanted to keep it our secret, but now that big chain hotels are moving into Fredreichshain I will represent.

Hotel 26 defines what I’ll call hip lowkey classy: lovely and attentive staff, very clean and simple rooms, gorgeous fresh flowers at the bar and dining area, and an awesome breakfast every day. All for an astoundingly reasonable price per night!  It sits back from the street and is delightfully quiet and restful while having immediate access to the restaurants and activity of Fredreichshain. 

Now you know about one of our very favorite hotels. We have so much respect and affection for the people at Hotel 26, and we can’t thank them enough for years of warm and gracious hosting when we visit their city.

A most wonderful little hotel

We stayed here for one night and have to say that the position is really good. 2min walk from the Tram station M10. The room is a bit old but clean. The breakfast selection is simple but all fresh prepared

Hotel in good position

The staff are very friendly and very child-loving! Sometimes the small children are taken on the arm to calm them down. After I checked in, all my questions were answered politely. The delicious breakfast, included in the price, is delicious! The staff always take care to refill the delicious cereal and the fantastic mini-breads. I don't know of any hotel. The cleaning staff were also very kind and even chatted with one for 1-2 minutes. Only the entrance is a bit difficult to find! You have to go through an ice gate, the hotel is located in a quiet backyard. But everything is very well-described. Not far away are an S-Bahn station (Arnstraße) and a bus station (Streetbank) nearby.

Very child-friendly hotel with a great price-performance ratio

It is a smaller hotel which is located in a backyard. It is very quiet. The breakfast is very good, with a good choice. The whole staff is very friendly and the price-performance ratio is generally very good. I paid for 2 nights with breakfast under 150 euros. Not far from here are a S-Bahn station (Warschauer Straße) and a subway station (Frankfurt Tor). In the evening time you can have doners, curry sausage or other treats at any corner. And if necessary, always a Sti is open. Due to the proximity to the Mercedes-Benz Arena (St. 15 St.) I would like to get back to a car park with a cost of 10 euros per day in front of the parking lot!

A very family-friendly hotel with a very good value for money

Hotel 26 is located in a quiet inner courtyard in the Friedrichshain district. It is well connected to the public transport network. You can reach Alexanderplatz in 5 minutes. The rooms are solidly equipped with TV and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast is neat and the service is very nice and helpful. Ideal for a short trip to Berlin and close to the Mercedes Benz Arena.
