The appartment is spacious and located in a historic 19th century building. The location of the appartment is just perfect! Walking distance to most major sights, close to public transport and close lots of great places to eat.
Unfortunately the beds were much too soft for our likings. My husband ended up sleeping on the fold out sofa, because it was much firmer. Also the doonas were very narrow and short, smaller than a standard single doona. They barely covered our bodies.
A tip for future guests: there is no tv in the appartment, just a computer monitor, so if you want to watch tv, bring a laptop!

Location! Location! Location!

Stayed here with my husband and teenage daughters. We were in Apartment 2 which is the smaller one but it's easily big enough for a family of 4. The apartment is very comfortable and very warm with a large sitting room, comfortable beds  and good shower. It is also quiet. Andreas is lovely and very helpful. He looked up train times for us and sorted out the broadband which initially didn't work. The best thing is the position, which is walking distance to many sites such as museum island and very close indeed to Friedrichstasse station which all the main lines seem to pass through. You can also get a direct train to Schonefeld airport from there. There are restaurants in the street so eating out is easy. There is also a bakery opposite and supermarkets are not far. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant place to stay

We stayed in March a group of four (mature) ladies. The location is superb, close to bars resturants and local attractions. The apartment is spotlessly clean. The beds are the most comfortable beds our old bones have ever rested on! The bedding is good quality. Our host was very quick to respond prior to our trip and on arrival we were greeted warmly and given all the information we needed, including the return taxi to the airport booked for us. This apartment has everything you would want for a trip and we will be returning, with our husband's in the near future. Thank you Andreas for a lovely stay.

Wonderful Place

Lovely apartment in a great location, close to river. Very nice and helpful host. There is everything you need in the flat and it's very clean and has good beds.
Nice and quite place yet close to train station and sights. Nice bars and restaurants close by. 
We tried a few places the "Kartoffelkeller" is a good choice. Food worth your money, and they have great desserts, and good service.

Great place

we were four people on a long weekend in Berlin. the apartment was perfect, well equipped, clean and the location is perfect. 
the service was very good, helpful and with high availability.
since there was no one coming on the day we left we were able to stay late in the apartment (our flight was at night) with no extra cost - and we appriciate that very much!
on my next visit to Berlin - I am for sure coming back!

perfect location, perfect service!

It's a lovely apartment and very well located. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The only small problem with my taste is the toilets, too small. The owner is really nice and tidy. The apartment is clean and overall in good condition. We were five young people aged 20-25 years. We recommend this apartment.

All right, all right.

Stayed in Apartment 1, which is the slightly larger of the two owned by Andreas. Andreas met us as arranged to welcome us to the apartment and couldn’t have been more friendly and obliging. He made us feel so welcome and as well as showing us around the apartment, provided great local information.  Apartment has everything you need, with the possible exception being a clothes washing machine. Wi-Fi excellent and really good water pressure in the shower. Spotlessly clean and very warm (we visited in December). 
Location is very handy to many things. Museum Island is only a short walk away and it’s also easy walking distance to the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. Many restaurants and cafes nearby and a supermarket in the train station just a few hundred meters away. December is a great time to experience the many Christmas Markets which are all over the city. We particularly enjoyed the one at Alexanderplatz.
On the day we left, Andreas organised a taxi to take us to the airport which made for a smooth departure.
Couldn’t rate this property any higher. Fully recommend.

Stunning Central Location

It is very well situated. a few minutes walk from the friedrichstraße station, in a quiet street. the apartment is clean and equipped with everything necessary. the owner was very kind and attentive giving us references to move around the city. recommended to go with friends and family. certainly, we will repeat.

Cozy and well situated apartment.

Very nice apartment with all the amenities. Very useful for a family. Near everything, well located in the city. Near a grocery store. Easy to walk with children is the main place. Andrés is very hospitable and helpful.

Well located

Very well located geographically, spacious and comfortable apartment. Friedrichstrasse station nearby, making it possible to get around Berlin.(no noise) Bus stop coming from Tegel (airport) nearby. Well equipped, perhaps missing a microwave and electric coffee machine.
