The hostel is neither more nor less than what is expected for what you pay, but we have received outrageous treatment from the workers and their friends.As if it were some kind of xenophobia or something like that.We were badly challenged, in a chule, with unpleasant looks all day long, and on top of that, we were betting on their language in our faces, as if we were not realizing anything.

The expected but worse.

The accommodation was a shock. Even if you can't ask for much for such a price, it always gets worse. The bathrooms were dirty, there was no toilet paper, the room was inhabited, the bedding was partly heavily polluted. Also, it was very noisy because the windows couldn't be closed. Not to mention, if it was still really cold outside. If we hadn't relied on the possibility of staying overnight, we probably would have gone back out again.

Not recommended

Visited in 2014, not in 2018, but I can't change it to earlier date. The sheets were dirty and stained with something yellow, besides that, we found some hair in them. Disgusting. Tried to take a shower - what a shame, no water. Some of the staff members were absolutely mean and not helpful at all. There are so many thieves in the area, that the staff leaves flyers warning you about it. I was robbed when staying there. The one camera that should've captured the thief conveniently didn't work, while the other ones seemed to be functioning properly. Watch out.

Below average hostel

We were fooled by the room, the bathrooms were a horror, the small, dirty kitchen, and the manager, a scary mobster, I wouldn't recommend it for cheap.

It's terrifying.

There are individual bedrooms or dormitories. Sure, cleanliness is not the most flawless criterion, but it's still appropriate. The dormitory was made up of at least... 250,000 beds! There's always someone sleeping in it. But the most important thing is that there's coffee at will, perfect when you're looking for an apartment or a job, rather than looking for it in a cafe, you stay here.

The perfect hostel when we arrive

We stayed here a few days. Upon entering the room we were quite in shock. One person’s bed (which was supposed to be clean) was full of hair. There were huge stains in the sheets and the curtains (one stain in the curtains looked an awful lot like a bloodstain). 

Random people would try to enter our room at night and several homeless peoplr would come in the hostel to use the facilities (toilets for example). There is absolutely no privacy in the showers. The showers can’t lock and are only covered by a curtain. Strange men could (and would) simply walk in to take a peek at the girls showering.

I can go on but I simply didn’t feel safe. The staff however were very kind and helpful. It’s a shame the facilities aren’t better and clean.

Staff is great, hostel itself very dirty

This Hostel is really dirty.. Don't want to come back. The kitchen is too small, showers and toilets are disguting. Hopefully other people were quiet cool, the only good point.
Oh yes, prices are quiet cool too ^^

Dirty

We stayed in this hotel with 3 friends during our Interrail. The hotel is not very expensive for a place right next to the boxes, but still the atmosphere is very lukewarm (in the week). The toilets are not very clean, don't forget your tongs for the shower! Besides, the photos show us a common room with billiards and music, but none of this is accessible. The kitchen layout is very rudimentary, few covers, and a gazinier that doesn't work, very annoying when you want to save money. In terms of bedrooms, say, apart from the lockers too small for the bags, and the rooms that are not well located. If you are looking for a closet, this one is very well located, and it's not very expensive!

Average but good value for money

At first when we arrived at this hostel we immediately wanted to book in somewhere else. The staff were really lovely however, the location of the hostel didn't make us feel safe. The lockers inside the room were tiny so no big bags had anywhere safe to stay, the wifi didn't work in the rooms and the noise from outside was awful. On the other hand, it was a 2 minute walk from a tram station which took you into the centre, the restaurants nearby were AMAZING and even though we didn't feel safe at first, you came to realise people were actually really nice. I would recommend to young travellers but I personally wouldn't stay here again!

Budget hostel

Hostel really dirty, probably not to the standards. The showers, the toilets, the sheets were all dirty, really. And I'm not exaggerating, I made them hostels and I don't need extreme comfort but when you can't even take a shower it gets serious.
