Simple but acceptable Frankish cuisine at car prices. The rooms with Spartan furnishings are highly overpriced (96 € for a two-bedroom are absolutely inappropriate). Furthermore, the price regulation is violated: neither at the hotel entrance nor at the reception desk was a price list drawn up or hung out.

Solid household food, misleading pricing and overpriced rooms

We were at the inn for a meal for the happy arrival. The menu was varied. The meal was very tasty and the portions were large. Although almost all the tables were occupied, the server always kept an eye on the tables. It was a very pleasant stay.

Delicious food, decent portions, quick service.

We were here for dinner, not to stay overnight. The terrace is very nice. The food was of good quality; the service was very friendly, the prices are ok! Especially the dessert was great!

Good food.

Very good food. Large portion for a small price. Very fast and attentive service but a little unfriendly. But definitely to recommend further. We went there several times for dinner and were very satisfied.

Holidays

It's in a quiet, quiet location, free parking in front of the inn. Two marble staircases with suitcases to suit up because there's no elevator. A struggling little room, very simple. A tiny bathroom, but overall clean. Breakfast in the middle, nothing exceptional but we didn't go out hungry. It feels a bit like being hosted in a family because the hotel gives the idea of a grandparent's house. An elderly owner always spoke to us in German despite our attempts to make her understand that we don't know the language of the structure... Fortunately another owner came to us with English. How he didn't give us enthusiasm but I don't feel any lower because they were visibly clean and friendly environments and people.

No infamy and no praise

maybe not on your main route, but worth a detour! 

This Guesthouse is located in a small and quite village with plenty of opportunities for relaxing walks; either trough the surrounding fields, the forest or just dreaming away while overlooking the lake.

The rooms are clean and functional with spacious and new bathrooms. 

The kitchen serves very good German food and also the breakfast is just great. 

All in all this is very good value for money and a place that is highly recommended!

nice and quite...

We were tipped off about this place by a good samaritan when we were struggling to find a stopover in a nearby town.  This is the only hotel in this sleepy hamlet very close to the motorway junction.  The rooms were spacious & clean.  The breakfast a usual german buffet affair.  The price was good.  We stopped overnight to & from our holiday in Croatia without pre booking.  We were successful in getting rooms on the way but on the return they were fully booked but the owner rang me back & offered us two rooms in the guest house next door with breakfast spent at the hotel.  Excellent customer service on his part.  We travelled on motorbikes & this is definitely a bike friendly hotel,  the use of secure parking being offered by the two bike owning proprietor.

Good for a stopover en route

Very practical stopover, as it is located in a quiet village right next to the A7 motorway between Rothenburg ob the Tauber and Würzburg. But also a good starting point for local tours in the area or along the beautiful Tauber-Tal, Rothenburg, Schwäbisch Hall and much more. Opposite the guesthouse is surprisingly a well-restored little church in Romanesque style, over a thousand years old, especially from the inside. Do not miss it! Comfortable beautiful guest rooms with wood. Large dining area, good kitchen. Pleasant room size with easy access to a communal balcony terrace. The furnishing and furnishing is in order, but no more convenience. The park must be made possible with a little costlessness and a little roomlessness behind the terrace.
