We enjoyed moments of peace and tranquility here in the midst of beautiful places and with good people, so much so that at first we thought we would stop for only one day and at the end we stopped for three nights. The village is small but very nice, the surroundings are charming, the views are relaxing and in this period the mountains are full of wild flowers, especially ginestries, in full bloom. Antonio, the owner of the b&b, is very kind and always available, his advice on the best roads to walk and the places worth a visit have been indispensable and valid. His accommodation is clean and the bed is comfortable, the rooms on the ground floor are wide. The bathroom is small for a person, but Antonio also has other facilities, where they look good, but in this case I like a lot more than Antonio's body, and I like a good breakfast, in this case I like a very good one.

It's very nice, very clean and very quiet.

We've been here many times because it's our heart. Antonio is a super homeowner and he makes us feel at home! The accommodations are very comfortable and characteristic, the stone houses are the passion of our humans and we are the welcome! One of the things that our humans like a lot when they come here is breakfast, which they call exceptional, with products at km zero and cakes, cookies and bread all made at home. We would like to taste it too, but we were busy sleeping under the table. Humans brought home the breast and maybe one of these mornings I'll let us taste it. Recommended to all 2 and 4pe this wonderful place to relax, breathe and make, for anyone who wants, very beautiful legs. We also met the camels!

Our Place in the Heart

On a well-known site I bought a three-night stay at this B&B convinced to go to Maratea, but then I found out that it was 2h away by car from Maratea. I contacted the owner of the property and he told me that it was not his fault and that he can't help me with cancellation, so I tried in vain to cancel the booking in terms without any result. At this point being a random holiday I decided to go anyway to visit the Pollino Park. The day before check-in contact the owner confirmed my long life and he was amazed by my choice he asked me if he could make this booking cancellation, to which I thank and confirm my arrival for the 19h of the day. After 3 hours of strange rains and then I asked to come to this beautiful country and this has been done so well... but now the owner was confirming my arrival and he asked me if he could sell me a real phone to make me write this booking, which I thank him and he confirmed my arrival place.

They cancel reservations without consent and bring back a different, much more desirable place.

Located in the highest point of Pollino, the structure is really nice, very clean, very central to the square. Antonio, the owner, really kind and hospitable. Abundant breakfast with cakes and biscuits and many other good things made at home. The only bad note.. the distance from the sea.. too much, therefore the discourse.. (it's about 45 minutes of the road of which 30 minutes of curves.. for those who don't run too much). For those who really wanted to relax a nice oasis of peace.

Beautiful structure at the highest point of the Pollino

In the center of the little village of Alessandria del Carretto, there is this beautiful bed and breakfast, where the tradition meets with the kindness of the host Antonio.
A very clean and calm place where to spend some days immersed into the nature. 
Antonio will offer all that you need to complete your journey in the best way ever.
I highly recommend it!

Absolutely worth it!

My companion and I were lucky enough to stay in this place during the Easter season and it was incredible to notice in a very short time how the inhabitants of this place of different generations but always close to each other were able to put us at ease. We realised right away the simplicity of the lifestyle of these people who love to value their land and their customs, dating back to the Middle Ages. Also the courtesy, education and altruism of Antonio the owner of the b&b, made the living room even more pleasant. Always available, even to take his fortress to carry us up to the mountain to make excursions and also to drink precious wines made at home for their own consumption.

An oasis of peace enclosed in a suggestive and pleasant setting

Excellent hospitality and hospitality carefully taken into the smallest detail. Antonio adds to the sympathy the care and desire to make some local products appreciated and known. Good wine excellent sweets and a coffee Cokito produced and packaged in a truly aromatic area. The B&B in the center of the small village, located in the authentic villages of Italy, is the ideal base to know this part of the harsh and beautiful Pollino

Love for your own land

A beautiful B&B in all its contexts, spacious, clean, welcoming rooms and care for the smallest details. Manager, a very cheerful and friendly guy who always manages to make the wonders of the surrounding area appreciate.

We were cheered up by Antonio who with kindness, sympathy and professionalism took us around the village. Everything perfect and neat in detail.

For those who want to experience the thrill of returning to the tranquility of the past without the noise of cars with the smells of the seasons, the structure is located in the center of the village, characteristic, historic building, excellent breakfast, you can take excursions, I fully recommend.
