Unfortunately I can't recommend this hotel to anyone, because of disgusting food, unfriendly service and substandard rooms. We didn't sleep a wink during the first night of our stay due to the awful bed. We changed to another room, in which the bed was slightly better. The staff didn't greet the guests or smile at them. The rooms were supposed to have free wifi, but it seldom worked. There was air-conditioning in the rooms, but the owner decided to switch it off whenever he thought it wasn't needed although the customers disagreed. The whole hotel is in need of vast renovation work. 


An awful experience

I spent two weeks at this hotel and I found myself very well, always friendly staff, not to mention Mr. Luciano, always ready to help you with any problem, it was a great experience, the hotel is strategically located in the center of Chianciano, I'll definitely come back.

My daughter and I have been staying in this hotel for the last 10 days, I can't help but congratulate all the staff, starting with the reception of Mrs. Nara and Mr. Luciano continuing with the doorman at night, arriving at the ladies of the cleaning, who left the rooms clean every day impeccably.

An Unforgettable Holiday

The hotel is in a perfect location, the friendly and always available staff, the very friendly and friendly manager Luciano excellent restaurant, the clean and comfortable rooms.

When traveling with friends, we chose this facility for a refreshing stopover, friendly and professional hospitality, clean rooms, and a comfortable dinner made with fresh produce and the territory!

As we have done on several occasions, we have chosen the Plaza Hotel this year for a family reunion. The choice is not accidental because we come back here every year with our family. The Lords Luciano and Nara of the management are very kind and welcoming, they try to satisfy every small or large request. The clean, quiet environment, the excellent and refined cuisine, always enriched at the end of the holidays, with cake and flower gifts. I have chosen the month of June, we have used the pool and also spaces to entertain ourselves in joy. Thank you very much for everything Mr. Luciano... We will return soon. With great affection the great family traditionally returns.

Every year is always the excitement of the first time!

The surroundings are fantastic. The hotel is very well situated and offers everything you need in my opinion: very clean (the rooms are always reliably cleaned by magic), a pool on the roof, absolutely delicious food (especially the Italian pre-dinner in the evening) and there is really so much food that you really can't complain, you wouldn't get full! The staff is magical. Everyone is incredibly nice and strives to fulfill the wishes. The staff is very attentive and even noticed what you prefer to do early. Even at the bar before I asked for this or even expected it, I bought a mix of drinks, I could have enjoyed a meal and enjoyed the next evening... then I can really say that here is the only place to be happy!

A lovingly managed hotel

It's always a pleasure to stay at Hotel Plaza, where the cuisine is exquisite and Mr. Luciano's sympathy makes you feel right at home. The buffet is fantastic. The hotel is of course a bit dated, but retains the charm of the golden years. Our room including the bathroom was recently renovated and furnished in modern style.

We spent a few nights in the Plaza last July and we didn't miss a thing. The hotel itself still has its original charm. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and modernised. The food is fantastic. Especially the appetizer buffet in the evening is great. A highlight for us was the pool on the rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the magnificent landscape of Tuscany. From Chianciano you can make many excursions, the location is wonderful for this. Many thanks also to the friendly hotel, who always had a joke or tip ready.

Best location in Tuscany with great rooftop pool

I stayed in June 2022. When I arrived, I hired the owner who checked me in dry and impersonal. My room was clean even though you couldn't turn around the bed, but the rooms of my friends looked like towers. Fatiguing furniture of different styles and colors that seemed to be picked up from the dumpster, the dryers that blew up in your hands, the doors that were falling apart, the mattresses to talk about not being able to sleep. To the constant requests for room change, I always got the same answer, that the rooms were there but it required commitment from the staff to change. Not to the last the poor quality of the food and the poor service. Most of the large group had to eat through the sloppy space had to pay for the car in the basement of the pool. The only thing they had to do was to get rid of the dirt.
