Experience more than positive, excellent quality/price ratio, excellent cuisine and great availability of all staff to satisfy any request. Rooms in the norm and pleasant moments of relaxation in the swimming pool area. Hotel located in a strategic position to visit the main tourist attractions of Tuscany.

More than positive experience and good value for money

Great food and plenty! Discrete cleaning, very efficient waiters, doing everything! Family atmosphere, friendly, all very kind. Very quiet place, good local pool. Excellent quality price ratio! A short distance from countries worth visiting. I recommend it.

Very good.

I stayed two nights in this place with my husband and my little daughter. Like all the facilities in the area, it's already outwardly badly maintained. The first thing you notice, apart from the place's skating rink, is the staff doing everything. There's no receptionist but whoever you happen to find in the hall improvises to be a bartender or receptionist. The staff is handy and friendly, especially the cook, but in short a lot of confusion. The rooms are discreetly clean, but we're not really there. TV and minibars don't work. Single bed made up of two single people and very uncomfortable, like the pillows. Mediocre breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Would I come back? No. I wish all the staff the best and I hope this hotel can be renovated because it needs it.

Three gifted stars

I stayed at the hotel for only a couple of hours. It was hellish hot outside, room was perfectly air conditioned, and I managed to take a dip in the pool included in the price.

Pleasant experience

Great accommodation, friendly staff, generous and sunny, great food and nice accommodation, we didn't miss anything, one of the best hotels in the Chianciano area, recommended for any type of stay.

Highly recommended

Very nice family hotell with exelent food nice people in the family that runs it. Godd rooms and a nice hostile bar. A swiminpool not warm but clea wate Main street just two blocks down the road. Sorry for my poor English though

Personal

As accommodation for a large group (we were about 100), the hotel is suitable. The lunch and dinner - each with several aisles - are of good quality, versatile and delicious. The hospitality of many guests at the same time works very well. The dining room is pleasant. The rooms and facilities overall are rather of average quality. The whole hotel has come a little old, for example we had a rusty outlet in the sink, a defective shower door (so that water inevitably ran to the floor), etc. Also about cleanliness there would have been air up, for example there was dust on the air conditioning system, etc. I also felt that it smelled like rust in our bathroom.

Group accommodation okay, less suitable for holidays

Rooms small, travellers wanting a single room get just that, a very tiny single bed in a room similar to students quarters! Some other rooms were off a corridor that appeared to be an after thought, no decor in the corridor, doors that looked as if they could be opened with a kick. Furniture looked as if made with MDF.
Food very basic, presentation average.
The hotel is understaffed but is saved by one extremely hard working and funny girl, Helena. She made the best of everything and carried people with her. She is worth her weight in gold!!
Overall not to be recommended, supposed to be 3star but more like 1 or 2.

Not great!

Although only rated a three star hotel this hotel offers great rooms for its rating and really good food.The staff were fantastic especially Helena who acted as receptionist,bar lady and waitress.The rooms are basic but very comfortable and like many hotels in Italy they need to have tea and coffee making facilities.

Enjoyable three night stay

Its a convent from around 1498 in a beautiful setting, clearly visible from the surrounding countryside. We were excited to be eating there and the wait service was excellent. Very old school traditional. The food was good, but no better than other places in the region. The desserts were a highlight and the setting is lovely.
