We are currently here, and I couldn’t wait to rave about this place. One of the nicest rooms in all we’ve stayed in Italy, so unexpected in this little town. It is owned by the third generation of one family. Wonderful people, so kind. Our room is large, modern, with a huge shower which is hard to come by in Italy. The location is halfway up the main steep road, which is perfect for access to all of the town, as well as quieter than by the sea. In addition, we have a lovely terrace. Don’t skip the breakfast! The owner bakes the croissants every morning, and you can eat outside in their garden.

Fantastic hotel!

Simon and all of the staff at Ca' d'Andrean were outstanding.  All were very helpful and attentive.  The breakfast in the garden was a great start to the day.  The location was wonderful as it was on the main road yet up away from the craziness of the locations closer to the water/train station.  An easy 10 min walk from the train station and less than 10 minutes to the marina.  The room was very comfortable with all the modern amenities expected.  The hotel is also located right next to an entrance to the Cinque Terre footpath trails.  We did the beautiful hike to Corniglia (via Volastra) from Manarola.

Comfortable and welcoming in an excellent location

Such a wonderful haven up the short hill. Our room was absolutely perfect. Very comfortable, great air conditioning, a fridge, huge comfortable bed, Lovely bathroom with a great shower.
The hosts are really nice, very attentive but not over powering.
Breakfast in the lemon tree festooned garden was a pleasure every morning.

Excellent

Wonderful hosts at this family owned B&B. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice breakfast! Great location for exploring the town and surroundings. Accommodating to all our needs and questions. We highly recommend this spot for a great stay in Manarola!

Quiet, comfortable with great hosts!

What's the reason to book a hotel? If the answer is "to sleep", then this hotel is the worst possible choice to stay in. Which is such a shame, because everything else is really nice. Friendly helpful staff, good location, great views, nice private terrace with chairs and sun-loungers. And the rooms themselves are smartly decorated - newly renovated, with new AC units and a nice modern bathroom with large hot shower. Which makes it such a mystery why the beds are so shockingly uncomfortable. Money has clearly been spent on these rooms, so did someone really decide to make these beds so uncomfortable - on purpose?!?!

1. Mattress - rock hard, like lying on concrete.
2. Pillows - also rock hard, and too thick - it's more comfortable to use a rolled-up coat.
3. Sheets - old-fashioned scratchy blankets instead of comfy duvets.

Luckily we only booked one night - if it had been more we would've changed hotels as I couldn't stand another morning waking up with such terrible back-ache and sore neck. 
This hotel desperately needs to address this huge problem - a comfortable night's sleep is clearly the main priority of a hotel, and it fails miserably. Just change the mattresses (or add memory-foam mattress-toppers), swap the pillows (or put soft alternatives in the room so guests can choose), and replace the blankets with comfortable duvets - these small changes would make the beds match the hotel's otherwise excellent standards. Until then, it's sadly an unbearable, insufferable place to stay.

Extremely uncomfortable beds

Excellent hotel in a great location in Manarola. Since each city is so small, everything is close. This hotel is just a short walk up the road. I highly recommend staying in the city so that you can fully experience it, especially at night. This hotel is right by a bus stop that will take you up to Volastra for a great hike to Corniglia. The hotel room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the service was excellent. There is not an elevator so you must plan for that. Their breakfast was good but a little pricey for only pastries and coffee. That is to be expected though for a hotel breakfast! Can always walk to a cafe if you're looking for a cheaper option.

Great spot to stay!

It's a very nice hotel in Manarola. The gentleman's really nice. The entrance is different in the evening, but great. The breakfast is really good. The room is large and the bed is very quiet.

That's great.

It's hard to not be happy in Manarola but in terms of the hotel, it was perfectly average.
The only real downfalls of this place is:
1) Paper thin towels, they were essentially sheets
2) Beds/pillows aren't super comfortable
3) The woman at the front desk seemed slightly rude, not super helpful and a bit agitated when we asked questions 

Overall, if I were going back I may look at other spots but for a cheap stay for just a couple of nights, it's fine.

Perfectly fine stay

There was a bed that had a mattress from the '70s, we tried to make it present, they pretended not to hear, then the hotel is in a bad position with nighttime noises that don't let you sleep, look for something else you can't find worse...

We're not really there. Nighttime street rumors and complete disorganization.

Very well received, very well advised, very comfortable room, climate, nice bathroom But the top of the top c is breakfast (only 7€) in the garden... just beautiful very central, 5 minutes from the train station and restaurants... our heart of the trip
