In addition to the strategic location on the slopes, the very nice furnishings and excellent cuisine; the battle horse of this place is the staff; friendly and available waiters and the couple who handle everything cordially and ready to respond to any need.

That's great.

I chose it more for convenience given the potion next to the lifting plant on arrival at the runway Comrades since the chair at the Fountain was and is out of service. I remembered it differently, small room for 4 people very 80 years especially the furnishing, double bed that at every move crinkled, back pain every morning; night temperature afterwards; good cleaning of the room. Room staff not very polite, contrary to the Owners who were always kind and available.

The Epiphany Vacation 2023

We've been coming to the Genzianella Hotel for years because it's a second home to us. The hotel overlooks the ski slope and the forest, the location is excellent. A few steps away is the centre of the village. The kitchen is excellent, the staff is very courteous and available, the cleaning is impeccable. Thanks to the Alberti family for the warm welcome!

A second home

Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony overlooking the track. Breakfast is good, sweet and salty, with really delicious cakes. There is the possibility of making half-pension: every evening the menu was different and with typical dishes of the area. Very kind and available staff. The manager's son is a ski master, with whom you can book lessons, if you are at first hand and not only. What to say, everything is perfect and we will definitely be back! Thanks from the former room 14! :)

Great hotel, perfect location

We were in Santa Caterina this weekend and stayed at the Hotel Genzianella. At first we were a little scared by the review of the ski club but then what we saw and experienced was just the opposite. The Alberti family, by the way very kind, made us feel at home. The hotel has an enviable location because it is right on the ski slopes, so while my husband and children were skiing I took a little relaxation menu on the sun terrace.

We stayed here at a cost of €149 for B&B. A little expensive but the welcome was good with a drink on arrival and a great selection of items at breakfast. Our rooms over looked the car park at the front of the hotel but we also had great views of the ski run at the back of the town. It only took 5 minutes to walk into town. The car park held about 50 cars but with some of the guests taking up 2 of the small spaces we were lucky to get parked when we arrived around 2.00pm. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had a fridge.

A good hotel but a little expensive

Very rude and scrupulous staff with athletes and kind and available to other guests. Strange but true. Obviously in this hotel athletes can't stand it, they did everything they can to make an unpleasant stay of a week of competitions for 20 kids + 4 adults. After paying 400 and passing € to the boy, the treatment they received was very unpleasant. At the end of the week they charge you with no chance to discuss the damages for a bad apple from a bed at a modicum of 35€! To another boy, who accidentally hit the back of an old bad chair made of wood, they filed a claim for damages x 200€! For a chair that will cost 50€.. And that was probably already significant to the team that was being treated badly.. It's impossible to re-treat the evils.. It seems that the price of this event has jumped to the price of 15€.. So if the kids had to pay for the cost of a bad day's racing, then you would not notice that the cost of the costs of the event would be zero euros.

They can't stand young skiers.

We stayed here for a long weekend and we enjoyed it. It's on the main road, attached to the cabin and the ski slopes, about 10 minutes' walk from the centre and the other slopes. The room was comfortable, with the balcony looking like a mountain. As for dinner, portions not exaggerated, but not from canary: just, without overflowing. private parking, also covered on request. Prices more than good and staff available. Recommended.

I stayed this weekend with my three children and we found each other very comfortable both as a reception and as a facility in general. The hotel is very quiet, clean and tidy. It has a separate shoe and ski room that is really comfortable. The kitchen is good and in line with what I usually find in a hotel of the same level. It is next to the cabin that goes to the Sobretta and therefore ideal for skiers. I find it hard to understand the negative reviews, as far as I'm concerned, I would recommend for a few days skiing and relaxation.

A pleasant stay

We stayed at the Genzianella this weekend. Nice and perfect hotel for skiers, friendly and available staff, clean and warm room (too much too!!), view of the ski slopes. The only thing to improve is the dining room, too cold although the kitchen is excellent and really plentiful! Perhaps to improve the snack buffet, because the cooked vegetables are frozen.
