Had the beef cheeks pappardelle and it was delicious, the ambience was enjoyable and our waiter, David was extremely lovely and made the experience here much more memorable. Would highly recommend!!!!

Amazing!

I stayed at Bella Venezia in December. We booked a two bedroom suite but it turned out there was only one bedroom and another room with a pull out couch. They never made it clear during the reservation. The mattress itself was tinted and I think the couch was broken but we were too tired to care and we only stayed there for a night, so could not be bothered. 

Also, the ACs (the weird type that can easily be installed and removed) were installed in each room but the hoses were too thick and were cutting through the windows, leaving windows open which led to low temperature. We called the reception and they came over to remove the ACs, thus we were able to close the window. 

The bathroom was clean with all amnesties. Although we did have to call again to get slippers. 

The service was terrible - they never sent the recommendations how to reach the hotel. Also, they could have fixed both the mattress  and the window situation prior to arrival. The reception did keep our bags without a few as we roamed the city the next day.

The rooms were tiny and I would not recommend staying there given all the reasons above. It’s not worth the money! 



Spotless bathroom and great location, but I would not recommend staying here

Having visited this restaurant has led me to join TripAdvisor and write this review , the food was reheated and we had to return several meals as they were still frozen on the inside. 

We had a table of nine in total and none of the nine were happy,  dreadful service and over priced .

Would  avoid this one at all costs

Stay away

Very friendly service at reception.  The room was basic, but clean and comfortable.  The breakfast had lots of choices and was well priced compared to other local options.  The hotel was extremely easy to find.  Short walk to San Marco and short walk to water taxis.

Great Location

Old Venetian building with interior in rooms to match. (Think wall paper, patterned terrazzo floor). Very close to Venice attractions without being in a busy main throughfare. Breakfast room overlooking canal which was picturesque.

It's a very nice location. There are almost no tourists, so you can enjoy a walk around the quiet streets and canals without anyone around. At the same time, from the train station and the bus station it's only 15-20 minutes walk away, with a moderate step with suitcases. A big plus that's very close by, no more than 5 minutes walk away, there's a vaporetto stop (a local type of public transport, every river tram), from the islands (Burano, Murano and Lino), and to San Marco Square it's really easy to get up and down.

Nice location, nice staff, but the rest of the time, it's not going to work for everyone.

This is in quite a decent spot in Venice. Not in the heart of things, not even the heart of Cannaregio, but this has the advantage of being quiet, which is what you want when you need to sleep. It’s set in a courtyard just off Fondamenta de la Sensa, and is in easy walking distance of Nova Strada and also the train and bus stations. Dorms were okay; the one I was in had a pretty little balcony on Rio Madonna dell’Orto. Of the two showers, one was actually okay (the one with a bath), the other should be avoided unless desperate. 

Good location but needs lockers

The only thing that I liked here was the vew and the location. After check out I couldn't use the hostels kitchen and bathroom because they had cleaning time ?! All in all, I'm not staying there again, there are better hostels with kinder stuff for the same price.

Not the best hostel to stay in.

Very helpful staff.  Breakfast is provided each morning.  We stayed in the annex a couple of blocks away due to the size of our party.  The rooms were quiet and decorated in venetian style.  Great shopping and restaurants near by.  A short walk to San Marco square, the Rialto bridge and the gondola rides.  I would stay there again.

Pleasant hotel in the heart of San Marco

Our four-day stay in December: ideal hotel located in the city centre, 3 minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 5 minutes from San Marco Square, we were fully satisfied. Its very pleasant staff was listening to us. The very comfortable room despite a small difficulty in adjusting the temperature, however, there was a lack of storage for personal effects and the very functional bathroom was maintained every day in an impeccable clean state.
