We stayed in the Emerald apartment....the top floor!  The room was super cute!  Very clean and well appointed!  Bed was comfortable and so was the den!  The location is great! Convenient to public transportation and walking...once you figure out how to get around!  The guys that manage the place are super nice and very helpful!  I'm so glad we stayed here!  Get ready to get your steps in!  * and don't stay here if you can do lots of steps to get to this apartment!

My husband and I stayed at the Amsterdam Jewel apartments for 3 nights at the beginning of March 2023.  I booked the Pearl studio apartment which is a studio with floor to ceiling windows with the most beautiful view over the canal.  The bed was soooo comfortable, the shower pressure was perfect and the room had a fully equipped kitchen.  We only used the fridge for snacks and beers etc.  The stairs are pretty steep and narrow but I believe that's the norm in Amsterdam. These apartments are so central to everthing. Dam square is literally less than a 5 minute walk with a supermarket just around the corner.  The Anne Frank museum is about 10 minutes walk away. It's a great base to be when you are navigating around this beautiful city.  We cannot wait to return and would definatley book these apartments again over a hotel.  PS. the host allowed us to have the apartment early on our day of arrival as we arrived at 10am that morning. Check out was 11am on our day of departure and there was a room to store our bags.  I thought that was a lovely touch. 

Pearl studio apartment on 3rd floor

Excellent Apartment! I can't say enough how great this accomodation is, beautiful inside with great decor and well thought out, everything you could need for a long or short stay! Nespresso machine and capsules provided as well as teas etc. There is a hairdryer plus maps of the local area.
The living space is so comfortable with a nice sofa to sit on and relax with an amazing view over the canal. The apartment was warm and the bathroom was a nice size, there was plenty of towels and the bed was large enough! Cees was extremely kind and helpful and on hand for as little or as much information as you might need! 
The location is great next to some bars and restaurant with a good supermarket just around the corner, Dam square was less than 5 minutes walk and central station less than 15 minutes. I would recommend this to anyone! Beautiful place to stay 

Excellent, Cosy, Superb! 

Just back from a great stay in the Emerald apartment.  Apart from the stairs, which after a long day can hurt the old legs a bit, we loved our stay there and the outlook is well worth it!
The flat is comfortable and spotless - we felt immediately at home.  The decor was very much to our taste, stylish and minimal.  We slept, cooked and relaxed well and loved the view from the lounge, looking over the canal.
The apartment is perfectly situated, 10 mins walk from Centraal, close to a good supermarket, cafes, trams and Dam Square.
We met Cees and Jo Jo (who lives in the same building) and they couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.
Amsterdam is a great city.  It has a chilled vibe and is so picturesque - this apartment is a great base to explore it.  We hope to come back again soon :-)

Five night stay in 'Emerald'

We stayed in the apartment in February for five days.
The apartment is in a great location close to Dame Square, Super Market, public transport.
Fully equipped kitchen, clean shower and lovely view.
Highly recommended for couples.

Lovely apartment in a great location

We have just returned from 2 nights in Amsterdam opting to stay at this establishment after reading other positive reviews on TripAdvisor. 

We arrived at 11am & was met by cees whom lives in one of the apartments downstairs, he kindly let us leave our luggage until we could check in at 2pm. An informative and kind gentleman whom seems to really care that you enjoy your visit. 

We checked back in at 2pm, staying in the AMBER loft apartment. The stairs to the apartment are narrow & winding so not for the faint hearted or if you have any mobility issues but being this high means great views of the canal just in front & peace & quiet. 

Apartment itself was super clean, super comfortable, (bed had good quality mattress) catered for everything, no need to bring hairdryer or travel iron they had it all, kitchen was equipped like your home & nice touch with nespresso machine too. Lovely shower in bathroom, clean towels & mini toiletries provided. They even leave umbrellas in the lobby for you to use, very thoughtful hosts. 
The only strict rule is NO SMOKING in the Amber room, I believe they have other apartments that have a terrace for smoking but do not opt for this particular apartment if your a smoker.

Location wise we couldn’t ask for better just enough away from the main throng but close to walk to enjoy all aspects. Cafes, coffee shops, shopping & restaurants, dam square etc all nearby. 

Check out time is 11am but again will hold your bags until your flight/travel time. We really enjoyed our short break and would highly recommend jewel apartments, we liked the quirkinesses of the Amber room but don’t think any room would disappoint here and would certainly return. 



Fantastic - Everything spot on

We stayed in the ‘amber’ apartment for a long weekend in Amsterdam. The apartment was very well equipped and was spotless. It also looks directly onto the canal which was lovely. 

The host, Cees, was very friendly and welcoming.

There is the option to leave your bags on the checkout day which was perfect for us as we had a late flight.

Thanks very much and we hope to stay again some time :)

Lovely Apartment 

Couple trip in February 2018. Super well-placed apartment, superb views of the Singel Canal, super welcoming host, well-equipped and well-decorated apartment.

That's a great place.

I stayed in this beautiful building for two nights for my anniversary. The apartment is really very special and suggestive given the beautiful view of the canals of Amsterdam and the proximity to supermarkets and the center (5min from Dam Square).but ahime everything else is to be improved and not little. The apartment is very hot and despite having ventilators it lacks an air conditioner which is vital since we are talking about a balcony..and then the stairs that we knew to be steep but never as we saw them..if you have a small luggage you can but if you stay a little get ready because you are going crazy..it has no reception but a cottage and a guy who sleeps two floors below you explains how you work..without infogamia and without the cloud..you can do much better than this type of bed..but you can bet it is much more beautiful!

40th Anniversary

The apartment consists of only three rooms, we lived in the Yantar room, on the fourth floor. The room is two-story, the living room is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, upstairs is the bedroom. The kitchen has everything, even spices, tea and coffee. The owner on arrival didn't even check the documents, immediately led to the room, told what was nearby, gave a map of Amsterdam. The location is better not to guess: with a view of the canal, five minutes to Dam Square, fifteen minutes to the train station.
