We booked the accommodation through an English booking site, but found upon arrival that the English spoken at reception is rudementary. Some questions stayed unaswered and when we couldn't figure out how the aircon worked we didn't even bother going to reception to ask as we weren't sure that would be any help.
The house itself was neat and clean, but I was very surprised you have to make your own bed on arrival. The bedding was in a plastic bag laid out on the beds - I have never seen that before so was not amused after a long day travelling to get here to also have to do that. Plus what a waste of plastic!
Speaking of plastic - there is no information booklet in the house with basic things like what trash gets seperated and there are no seperate bins in or around. We didn't think they did waste seperation (serious down point in my book) but only found out when we brought our back to the waste station at the end of our stay that they did some seperation - but by then it is too late. Also no basic descriptions of how apparatus works, like the dishwashing machine, coffee machine or aircon (we had never used a dishwasher and the aircon wasn't one like we know)
There is also no general information of "where is the nearest supermarkets", nearest towns and what things to do in the area, even walking routes are not supplied. When asking at reception I was pointed to the information board, which has a few folders of things to do, but no basic area information. They have a small shop on site, but during our stay this was have empty and mainly stocked with snacks, drinks and toys. We think the information may have been there before covid but was removed during. But we still would have appreciated the basic information of the area.
It is my opinion that this place caters mainly for tourist that come by car and have the luxury of taking items from home - or when they buy it they can take it back home. While supplying bedding they don't supply towels (unless you top dollar for them) - we knew this and brough our own towels on the plane, but we didn't consider hand towels or dishtowels which are not supplied. Dishwashing liquid is supplied a tiny amount - the big bottle you buy in the supermarket then goes to waste after using it only 5 days.
If you like going on random walks in the woods, this location is great. We did some walks and luckily didn't get lost as it is also not signposted inside the woods.

It was ok, but wouldn't return

The dream park Beekbergen is very uncertain, poorly painted inside, and very narrow and dark. When you arrive, you will find its address more or less by chance. From the exit to the park, it is just as difficult to find it. The exterior walls of the house we finally found are quite better at first glance. The entrance area is hardly clear, the head hasn't been cleared since the first three months. The exterior walls are definitely stretched out behind the house, but the interior walls are never quite as narrow to walk around the house, the cigarette lighters and the bathrooms are always in the same shape.

Once... and never again

The accommodation is clean and good but you have to make sure that you get what you paid for, we booked a house with dishwasher and in the site they say “some” accommodation might not have one, this is we got! The Resturant Sophia’s Italian is literally   the worth restaurant I have ever had. Please don’t go!! ( picture : spaghetti with salmon). My child’s pizza was still dough, simple pasta and pizza were the worth ever!!

Check first!

The staff can communicate in basic basic English and they do not really understand questions in plain and simple English. This included bad explanations regarding the check-in and check-out time and process.
Amenities are really bad. The gym (2.5 Euro per hour) has only 4 devices, the key for the gym is picked up at the lobby - on the other side of the park, about 20 min walking distance (over which you will be charged of course).
The laundry room has old washing machines, half of which are non-functioning. There is always a line to do laundry. I waited for a washing machine for 40 minutes before giving up.
The kids activities room is a joke.
The little grocery store near the lobby keeps alcohol, snacks, cleaning supplies and ice cream. There are no elementary kitchen and household supplies.
Garbage is collected from a designated place near the lobby and not from the area of the apartments. I had to put my garbage bag in the trunk, drive and drop it at the garbage collection area. How hard is it to pick the garbage bags from the side of the main park road?
In conclusion - not worth the price.

They don't really understand English. Poor check-in / check-out instructions. Terrible facilities.

We had booked a 4 night stay Our flight was delayed by 2 hours which caused us to arrive at 20:30 (not exactly the middle of the night is it?)
The property was closed with no consideration to accommodate us arriving late. 
No key or facility for guests arriving late as can happen due to no fault of ours... 
We were left to our own devises the DroomPark did not care.
We had no option but to find another hotel and to find a hotel late in the evening for that night caused us much anxiety 
THEN... they charge us for 4 night 
Terrible.... Terrible, attitude to guests in my opinion !

If you arrive after 20:00 you will have no accomodation - they take your money and do not care

We chose this house for a number of reasons: first, we love to have a fixed place to stay and enjoy day trips from there; second, we park the car outside the door; third, our dog was also there; fourth, if we don't want to stay, let's stay home.

On vacation and still at home - that can be something!

Cycling through the woods got s puncher on my bike, was fixed by the local bike shop, good service, my wife hired an electric bike 20.00 euro per day nice price one charge was ok to ride 50k
Had lunch was a great day
 

Cycling weekend

We returned yesterday from the Netherlands. We spent a week in the resort village and we enjoyed very much.
We booked a villa for six people (VH). The house was lovely, with bath streams (like Jacuzzi) and sauna (!). A spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable with a large fridge. Three bedrooms and a courtyard with table and chairs.
We booked a villa near the water, and in the morning we were surprised to discover ducks came to visit the yard! The children really enjoyed feeding the ducks.
We did not like the wifi was with charge - not free.
The village itself well maintained and pleasant to the heart of the forest with bicycle paths. The children loved to ride bikes and carriages rented in the village. Excellent location - very close to the center of the Netherlands for many attractions - Zoo Borhr palace Het Loo Palace and only an hour away from Efteling!
The reception staff were very nice and courteous: They printed us tickets Efteling office, and agreed that we'd deposit them the key for few hours, when we had to. When there was a hitch Zimmer less than an hour the maintenance man came to fix.

Wonderful week in the Droompark Beekbergen

Booked a 6 persons luxury holiday home for my wife and myself.  We don't really need 3 bedrooms, but we like our space and on the website it looked exactly what we were looking for.  The first hurdle was finding the place - not really well sign posted compared to other parks we stayed at.  We ended up in the visitors car park at the Jachthuis restaurant, only to find out that the reception was at the other park, 15 minutes walk away!  We were given Q20 and as soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by a very unpleasant smell. The floor downstairs was covered in dead flies, some beetles, 2 bees and some bits of glass on the kitchen floor.  This house had obviously not seen a mop for a while. I ended up vacuuming the place for 20 minutes, before I even brought our luggage in. I also vacuumed 30+ spiders from all corners in the house!  My wife ended up cleaning the dirty fridge and she also emptied the dishwasher, as the last occupants had obviously forgotten to do this, as instructed in the T&C's. Surely this should have been checked by the cleaner?
The outside area has also seen better days.  The patio area was disgusting, with weeds growing everywhere, millions of ants, more mole holes than grass and I almost forgot - 3 piles of dog muck!  The patio table had big chunks missing, 2 chairs were broken and the ones you could sit on were covered in 5 mm of moss, as were all the window sills.  My wife reported all these issues to reception, but all she got was an apology and no action was ever taken to resolve the problems.  
Wifi is not included, but for an extra cost you can purchase this at reception.  We had to ask for a refund, as there was not a strong Wifi connection in our house, something reception is aware off, but failed to tell us.
Some other things I should mention is the fact that the toilet is very small - you have to sit sideways to fit in that space.  The cutlery is also very small, more children's size.  
Overall I have rated this as average, as the location of the holiday let is excellent, but it's the lack of maintenance that lets it down. Definitely not worth the money I paid!
