We had the family room number 2. Superb space for 5 people with two bedrooms + a sofa bed. impeccable cleanliness and comfort room. Excellent bed. Perfect lunch with everything you can hope for. Coffee and tea are available all day. The people at the reception are very friendly. The hotel location is ideal. In short it is ideal for a stay in Scheveningen

This beautiful hotel on the North Sea provided us with an unforgettable weekend in Scheveningen and The Hague. We had a great room with a wonderful sea view and a snug balcony. Also the hotel lobby (with free coffee, tea and pastries) and the breakfast room (delightful breakfast) are very nicely decorated. The service is phenomenal. When we needed a doctor's appointment, the woman at the reception laid herself down for us and agreed to a loan. The beach hotel Scheveningen is located there, where the beach promenade ends and the more natural beach section begins. So it is just a few steps to both the restaurant and the tourist attractions and the city. We were also able to stop at the beautiful art and art museum, as well as the picturesque Pier and the picturesque hotel, which we had to visit in the city.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach

As always, great, everybody very friendly and helpful:) this hotel lives and is history. I feel almost at home. I've been myself for 23 years traveling for big hotel chains, even looking in corners where no normal guest is likely to look, but everything is tip top.

Everything was perfect, the ambience, the room, the staff, the breakfast, we liked it all very well, it's a small hotel right on the beach, ideal for those looking for a rest, but you're still a few steps from the pier and the beach.

Very nice beach hotel

Nice, clean hotel. Nice staff. Breakfast has something to offer for everyone. Coffee/tea free for the house guests in the lobby. Bike parking right at the house. Unfortunately no elevator in the house and also not barrier-free, but something very special!!

Wonderful views from the sea view room

Characterful hotel in a great location near the beach and just a few metres from a tram stop. The family room was spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were very kind and welcoming; breakfast delicious, and with a great view of the sea from the dining room. We loved it. Hope to return one day!

Friendly, welcoming hotel in great location 

A wonderful little hotel in a direct beachfront area, lovingly managed and decorated. The rooms are tastefully decorated - suited to the historic house. The attention-grabbing service is first class, from the lounge, where free coffee, tea and pastries are available around the clock to the breakfast room with sea view - the well-being of the guests here is absolutely central.

Here, it is made easy for a person to feel comfortable and to recover.

A nice historic hotel, built from two family-owned villas. Unfortunately, our room was right on a busy street. The breakfast buffet was enough but not outstanding. The atmosphere overall was very nice.

A beautiful nostalgic hotel. You feel a bit transported back to the old days. We felt very comfortable there, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Besides, everyone speaks a very good German. The breakfast was appealing, there were various types of bread, buns and crackers. Wurst, cheese and pastries as well as cereal, mirror eggs and boiled eggs rounded the offer. In the lobby you can make coffee, cappuccino, etc. FREE at any time, a water sprinkler is available. All in all it was a very nice time too.

We stayed for two nights at the Strandhotel Scheveningen. It was two minutes from the beach and about five minutes' walk from the centre of the promenade, the pier and the restaurants. But when you get into the lobby, you feel like you've been thrown back into an Agatha Christie crime, as if a murder could happen anytime and you had to solve a case. At about 1 p.m. our room was already ready for use. #5 (We had to walk to the staff site and we got out to the Carlton Hotel) But we had to go through a suitable stepping stone to the first floor.
